Saving A Life (A Tarlos Fan Fic)

Carlos Pov:

I haven't let go of his hand since I got into the ambulance.

But as my focus continues to be on my husband.

This random cop suddenly says something else.

Random Cop: "Ma'am do you talk to all of your patience like this?"

Tommy: "T.K. isn't exactly a patient he is one of ours he is a paramedic just like us and he works with us."

Random Cop: "May I ask what happened for one of your very own paramedics to be in a situation like this?"

Tommy: "As much as I would love to tell you what happened or have him tell you what happened I really think that you should get back to doing your job, just like I have to get back to doing my job. Because one of my very own is in need of my help and needs medical attention. I don't think I should be wasting my time talking to you when I have a job to do."

Random Cop: "Sorry Ma'am.."

After he says this the cop is quick to put his attention back on me and continues with the questions as Tommy & Nancy go back to doing their job.

Random Cop: "Young man can you continue to tell me how keeping those people safe led you to punching one of them in the mouth?"

Carlos: "He was rude and yelling at me when I was only doing my job."

Random Cop: "Why was he yelling and being rude to you??"

Carlos: "I don't know you should've ask him about that. Because he basically cussed me out and called me a cocky piece of sh*t and thinks I can do whatever I want because I think I am above the law. When I don't I just live my life and enjoy it and I do my job like I am supposed too.."

Random Cop: "I didn't think about that because he didn't mention that he made it like you was the problem in this situation."

Carlos: "Me the problem here?! If anything he is the problem he didn't have to act like that when I was only doing my job he could've been nicer and had some respect towards me. I am not the problem here he is you should be talking to him and arresting him not questioning me about the situation.."

Random Cop: "I know but I have to get both sides in order to figure out how to fix the situation."

Carlos: "I just told you how to fix the situation arrest him."

Random Cop: "See..since you mentioned how he acted that reminds me those are the kind of people I hate dealing with they always have something ignorant to say and are always running their mouth for no reason."

Carlos: "Right..now you know what I deal with on this kind of job."

Random Cop: "I do know and I understand but what I don't understand is why did you hit him?..it would've been best if you would've just walked away."

Carlos: "That is easy for you to say you didn't have to deal with him and you didn't have to stand there and have him cuss you out and call you all kinds of names. So I really don't think you understand what I am dealing with right now."
