(Context: Pugsley is the same age as Wednesday in this story, they are twins and are 26)

—————

I laid in my bed with Enid next to me, she was spending the night after she and her boyfriend(aka my twin brother Pugsley) had an argument, she told me they had plenty of arguments, but this one must have been the worst considering her arrival at my doorstep at 12:09 at night.

For the last 71 minutes, Enid had been complaining nonstop about this argument. I only listened, and only nodded every time she finished a sentence to let her know she still had my attention

And not to my surprise, my brother was being a dick again, feeling jealous that Enid was talking to guys that weren't him, which were only were co-workers that she was required to talk to on a daily basis.

It doesn't surprise me that they haven't posted a couples picture in over a year.

I never understood how they've been together for so long. They've been dating for 5 years(almost 6), living together for 2, and all they've ever done is argue. Enid informed me that they lacked any kind of intimacy with each other. She always calls or texts me after each argument, since I am her go to, and I will listen to her rant about the argument for however long, no matter what time.

It never helped that I unfortunately happened to be in love with her ever since our time in Nevermore. I must say that she changed me for the better after being stuck with her as a roommate for four years of my life.

I sighed, "I do not understand why you are still with him, Sinclair." I told her flatly, looking her dead in the eye.

She laughed, her laugh is so beautiful, but I could tell this one was more on the forced side, she shook her head sadly, "It's not as simple as that, I don't think you would understand Wens."

Wens. A name she came up for me, I hated it for awhile, but I grew to love it. It makes me feel that warm feeling of being stabbed a million times.

"If this is because I happen to not be engaged in any romantic relationship, then you have stooped down to a new low." I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

"Oh come on!" She laughed again, nudging me with her elbow, "You know I didn't mean it like that Wens!" She was smiling.

I love her smile, it always brightens a room when she walks in, it was is magical, her smile, it is just magical.

"Plus, you could get a guy, or even girl, if you wanted to. You're just so shut off from society, hell! It took me two years after graduating to convince you to tell me where you live and to hang out!" She added.

I shrugged my shoulders, she did have a rather good point. I did refrain from giving her my address, after all, I did distance myself quite a bit after she and Pugsley got together. I was what Yoko described being "heartbroken", a word I never expected to associate with myself, but what an unfortunate turn of events it turned to be.

For quite some time, I did think that Sinclair also felt the same for me. And I had actually planned to court her, but dear brother had beaten me to it. Of course, he never knew I liked her, I will never hold that against him. But the hurt that I felt that day is still fresh in my mind, as if it was engraved into my soul.

"Perhaps, Sinclair, you chose the wrong twin." I declared boldly, but after a brief second I regretted even saying something so absurd.

She smirked at me, leaning only a little closer to me, "Is that so, Addams?" The way she said it made me feel nervous, something that I would normally never feel.
