'Yep I'm really done with this life, lord take me back.' You thought, scowling as you passed through the hallways. The students naturally parting to make a way for you because of your foul mood that was literally showing.

Not only that Alex had transferred a month earlier and did not meet Christina. Now he recognized you and naturally he immediately came to you as soon as recess came, surrounded by girls who he bewitched by doing nothing at all.

Here you are, power walking away from him whilst ignoring his entire existence. Sure you have blushed at just how smooth he is but you know you can't afford to like him because he was meant to be with Christina.

You wouldn't say you aren't like the other girls or any cliche like that, you're just like them but every woman has their unique qualities that sets them apart.

Yes, you have swooned but tried to act as neutral as you could. You literally walked away but Alex, being the persistent and stubborn man he is, followed you.

His eyes brightened, if he hoped you finally stopped 'playing hard to get' then he's wrong.

You noticed that the girls aren't following him now, they must've grown tired trying to get his attention, not that they can when his attention is towards you.

See? If fangirls had grown tired chasing after him then you must've had avoiding him for some time.

A smile appeared on Alex's face as he waited for you to talk. It made you think of a puppy but if you didn't know better, you would've have swooned.

"Listen Myers." You said firmly, your lips settling in a line as you gazed at the boy in front of you, you don't know his deal but isn't he supposed to be chasing Christina instead? "Stop following me."

Alex's smile faltered until a frown settled on his face. You're expecting a flirtatious comeback from him but it never came.

It's as if he wasn't even a Playboy at the start either he didn't even bother flirting back to the girls who wants him.

You can't exactly straight out say he's a Playboy either when he's not showing any signs of being one. If you did then who knows what he'll think, he might think you're a stalker for knowing that.

"How come?" He tilted his head left as he asked his question. You almost face palmed and sighed heavily, resisting the urge to wave your hand around wildly as you explained.

"Because I have things to do and you following me kinda disturbs me y'know? Besides you have your cousin Henry, bother him instead of me." You sighed with your frown deepening.

You know that Alex and Henry doesn't have a good relationship and he always annoys Henry when he's bored, causing the blue-eyed man to hate him more.

It was kind of his favorite past time, y'know make his cousin want to kill him.

"No, not until you talk to me."

"But I already did so shoo, if you don't want to bother your cousin then go to my best friend Christina instead, she's more interesting." You turned around to leave the man.

You don't even know why he's bothering you at this point.

"Wait! Can we at least be friends?" And he said that line he spoke to Christina when he began his move on trying to get close to her.

He grasped your wrist but you took it off with any hesitance. It might be cruel but you really want nothing from him.

"No." With that you're gone, leaving the man standing there. It almost made you sigh in relief of being alone.

Truly you need a break from all of those romance leads, they suck the energy away from you.

Yeah, a break sounds very appealing.

Alexandrei could only stare a your retreating back like he once did at the Cafe. This hit him the feeling of Deja Vu, you didn't give him the opportunity to get to know you yet again.

He sighed, frowning as he stared at the hand he used to grasp your wrist. Somehow, your denial of him makes him want to chase you more.

Despite frowning a few moments ago, his entire mood changed as a smirk appeared on his face, clenching his hand to a fist, marveling at the short yet worthwhile skin to skin contact.

He never felt something kin to this, his blood is filled with adrenaline, as if he just entered a challenge he knew he had to work hard for.

He isn't going to say you're interesting or different from the rest, he met many girls just like you before.

Girls who are playing hard to get or girls who really want nothing from him but still fell for him either ways.

He bet you're just as similar to them.
