Things have been wonderful since, or so you thought.

You and the girls have agreed to spend the entire day together now since you guys are already here and everyone doesn't have anything better to do.

You found yourself enjoying talking to Penelope and Christina about random things, laughing and cracking jokes here and there.

Though unbeknownst to you, the two boys who were pretty much forgotten, are not getting along too well.

Putting two introverts together just wouldn't work the way they are, putting two awkward people together won't make it better and thus creating this silent aura within the two.

Jeremy admits that he's only comfortable with you, though he talks with Christina a lot more. He couldn't really talk with Christina about you with you just listening there right?

Despite your conversations being quite awkward the way they are, he found himself enjoying every waking moment he spends with you.

Leon, just doesn't really get along with Penelope, his cousin and he doesn't know anyone in the group, making him felt left out.

He didn't know the boy walking next to him, Christina and Y/N. Sure he had interacted with you but that just wasn't enough to make him feel at ease and he wasn't really the type of person who loves to talk.

The dark haired boy next to him, Leon had a bad feeling about him but he didn't let it get to him. Don't judge a book by it's cover they said and so he followed.

He wondered if you and the boy have something between you two because Jeremy is pretty much invested in staring at you.

Jeremy is a pale skinned boy and it was pretty bright, making it very easy to notice the blush the boy had adorned.

Leon found it creepy but he won't say it out loud of course, he doesn't want to start a fight. Maybe Jeremy had taken a liking to you and Leon couldn't really blame the boy. It's even not hard to see that Christina is really fond of you.

You seem very nice, though quite eccentric.

The two boys really don't care about interacting to each other and just stayed silent through out the walk around the streets.

Of course this silence was noticed by the girls, especially you.

"They have been really silent there at the back."

"I almost forgot they're here.."

"Agreed..." You three whispered to each other, not wanting to let the boys hear you talking about them. You stopped walking, making the two boys in the group look at you with a puzzled expression.

You swear you can cut the silence between the two with a knife.

"You guys ok there? You've been really silent." You asked with a worried tone. Jeremy just shrugged and Leon just shook his head, it almost made you sigh.

"We're fine." Jeremy answered with his usual nonchalant ways.

"Yeah..." Leon agreed.

'Oh god, they're so awkward. Is there something to make these two get along?' Deep in your mind you know that it's impossible making them get along, Leon and Jeremy isn't really close in the novel.

They're never really that talkative when it comes to each other, rarely interacting other than when they have to come and steal Christina's attention from each other.

You shook your head with a sigh, it's a loss cause, there's no point in trying when the Christina in the novel even failed trying to get them close.

"Alright then." You tried to hide your disappointment but with Christina being close to you for years already, Jeremy and the others being observative, it didn't work and they had caught your negative feelings.

Before anyone had the chance to speak, you were already walking and chatting to the two girls who just gone along with you.

Of course Penelope gave Leon a subtle frown.

Jeremy who oddly felt guilty from seeing you sad, sighed before turning to the silent boy beside him. Leon found himself doing the same, it's the least he can do.

They'll try, Jeremy will try to talk with this silent male and get along. Geez, the things he'll do for you. He already know how bad this is going to end but yet again, he'll try and Leon seems to be in it too.

Ok, maybe he's wrong. Leon doesn't seem bad and he actually enjoyed talking with the sleepy boy. He can relate with him in so many levels and he felt happy, happy that it pleased you.

Unfortunately it was time to go home, it's already late and the sky is turning into a stunning shade of orange and red.

Wanting to spend more time with you, Jeremy offered to walk you (and Christina since you're neighbours) home. Christina have no qualms with it, seeing no wrong with it.

If she disagreed then Jeremy will have to insist and won't hesitate to argue until she surrenders and let him walk you home.

Anything to spend more time with you, duh.

"Bye N/N, Jeremy! I'll see you tomorrow again!" You dropped Christina off first at her porch. She waved at Jeremy before giving you a tight hug. After that, the doors were closed and here you are bidding your good-bye to Jeremy too.

"Thanks for walking us, be careful on the way home!" You smiled at Jeremy, causing him to blush and just nod, he doesn't trust his voice at this time.

You waved him good-bye one more time and was about to close the door but a foot stopped you. You opened the door and sent Jeremy a confused look. He was looking down and his lips were pursed, his eyes not meeting you.

"Yes?"

He murmured something under his breath, if he thinks that you heard it then he's wrong.

"Excuse me what?" He flinched before sighing, forcing himself to stare at you right in the eyes. He was a lot taller than you, it was kind of intimidating really.

"Do you like him?"

'Him? Leon?' You thought yourself, you found yourself wondering why he's even asking this to you but he looked serious and his eyes are practically demanding you to answer his question.

"Leon? He's a nice person." You answered him, not giving him a clear answer but Jeremy seems to accept your answer when he nodded and said his good-bye, turning away.

"See you tomorrow Y/N."

"Yeah see you too."

'Weird...'

"Who's that?"

"Oh that's Jeremy, big brother. Why?"

"Nothing..."
