We could talk, and do nothing,
We could walk, and do nothing,
We could paddle on a beach, and do nothing, or
Laugh and smile, and do nothing.
We could hug, tug and play, and do nothing,
We could skip stones across the water, and do nothing
Why don't we have dinner and drink, and do nothing, before we
Stretch out on cane and cushions, watching the sun going down on our day, and do nothing.
You can do nothing too but I'm sleeping here in your dreams tonight, doing nothing.
