There is one woman in my life.
She's the only one I can call
my trouble and my strife.
She's my rock, she's my friend,
We'll be together to the end,
She's the one woman in my life.
There was one woman in my life,
My mother, she taught me how to love
And her girlfriends taught me how to love
I was sad and bitter when she went,
My guardian angel the heavens sent,
She was the first woman in my life.
There's been one man in my life,
My father taught respect and old glory
Never to write the same old boring story.
He stays with me in this world together
Lost souls tied by a tether
He was the first man in my life.
There was one woman in my life,
She's a lot younger than I will ever be
She found the writer the world now sees,
We'll never be together for eternity,
She's the pagan, I'm the beast, but
she's been one woman in my life.
There's been many other women in my life,
I've had my fair share of mothers and daughters
and loved them all more than I aughta.
Sometimes in their wedding beds,
Their kitchens, porches, or sofas instead,
There's been too many other women in my life.
There are two special women in my life.
I love them with devotion and blisters
For they are my two younger sisters.
Another two generations of families
I've lots of nephews and nieces
They are two special women in my life.
There's been more women in my life.
They're in the websites of media that is rife.
Amongst the pages, they are my lovers,
Protagonists and mothers,
Headstrong, willful plovers
Fantasy between the covers. of my life.
There have been one nation in my life,
An Englishman, with Irish ancestors.
A Scottish grandmother with French blood.
I loved Australia, where my cousins moved.
But I am where I love the most
Rugby is the nation in my life.
There is one special country in my life.
Where I place my heart, my love and my wife
I will fight for them, die for them
Hold out my heart and lie to them
Wales is the country in my life.
She is the One woman in my life,
The Yorkish Welshman's daughter is my wife
I'm also much older and lots wiser.
I am her knight on a snow-white charger.
I will love her until the day I die
She will always be my trouble and my strife, my life.
I'm married to my greatest best friend,
She is my rock, she will be my end,
Together we'll walk hand in hand
We'll be together to the end,
She's the one woman in my life.
This is the story from my life.
