"So tell us a little bit more about this rally and your history with it," the interviewer asks me. "Well as I've said previously..." I started,but before I could even finish my sentence a pair of hands covered my eyes.
"Guess who," a familiar voice joked. It was my friend and colleague Oliver Solberg of course. I recognized him right away but decided to mess with him a little.
"Mmm, I don't know. Andreas Mikkelsen maybe?" I pondered. "No, try again," Oliver said. "Ah I know! Must be the one and only Petter Solberg then!" I laughed. "Wrong Solberg," Oliver teased as he removed his hands from my face and pulled a chair out to sit next to me.
"You do understand that I'm in a middle of an interview here?" I question Oliver, going serious again. "Well don't let me disturb you. I'll behave I promise," Oliver protested," I'm only here to observe."
I left it at that and continued on with the interview.
-time skip-
The whole interview my eyes kept glancing over to Oliver but when we made eye contact I was quick to lower my gaze. Praying he didn't notice the small hint of a blush appearing on my cheeks.
Anyway with the interview done and my media duties over for the day, Oliver proposed we go and get lunch.
- after lunch -
"Can I ask you something? " Oliver questions. "Yeah sure. What?" I respond. But before Oliver can get a word out he notices his dad walking over to us.
"Hey you two! How's it going ?" Petter asks us. "Yep, all good. I'm finally done with my media duties and we just got lunch," I say. "Ah OK, I was just going to ask if ya'll wanted to grab lunch. I guess since you already have I'll go by myself then," Petter says.
After the we say our goodbyes and he starts walking over to the cafeteria.
"So what were you going to ask me?" I turn back to Oliver. "Ah I forgot. Guess it wasn't that important then," he says before saying goodbye and walking off.
I could tell he was lying but I still wanted to know what it was he was going to ask me.
