Chapter 9
"Bilisan niyo at uuwi na tayo!" Leal irritatedly said after we go out to the cinema room.
I exasperatedly sighed and decided to walk casually like Caia. I fought an urge to beam at their actions.
Something in my heart melts.
One thing is for sure, they truly care for me.
On the other hand, I silently thanked God because I didn't easily fall for that man's charisma. Mukhang tama nga ang hinala ko noong una na ginawa niya lamang iyon because someone dares him to do so.
I withered at that thought. If I effortlessly fell into his trap, I think might be in tears right now just like the protagonists in the romance books I read.
She gently examined me.
Rousseau was running towards our direction.
He flashed his charming smile. "I saw you at the cinema—"
"Congrats, may mata ka pala," Caia abruptly interrupts.
I instantly looked at her. That was harsh!
Rousseau looks so dumbfounded at Caia's attitude.
He glanced at me and smile a little. "Bakit kayo umalis kaagad? The movie isn't yet over."
I'm about to respond when I felt someone put its arm on my shoulder.
Aeri's laugh sound so fake. "Papansin sa kaibigan namin, may kasama namang ibang babae sa sinehan."
Rousseau's lips parted in awe when he heard that. He looks like he wanted to laugh when he realized something.
"That was my-"
"I hate you, Kuya! Why did you leave me at the cinema?"
It was the girl who leaned on Rousseau's shoulders! She quickly removed the basketball cap on her head and turned her gaze to us.
I can fumble my eyes widen when I saw that it was Elle!
"Now I know why did you left me there," she said and rolled her eyes. "Hello, Ate's! Hi, Ate Navi!"
Nagugulat man sa nalaman ay ngumiti ako rito pabalik. I can feel that my friends are too stunned to speak by the sudden revelation.
I bit my lower lip when I suddenly remember her rants about the milk tea thing noong clean-up drive.
Why didn't I even notice?
