"I don't step down. Checkmate." Chaeryeong said. Everyone's jaws dropped Did Taehyun actually got beaten.

"Good game." Chaeryeong said switching back to her soft and gentle personality.

"You won?!" Ryujin said shaking her and she couldn't believe it.

The two walked away from the crowd as Taehyun had new match starting.

"Uhh.. please wait!" The two stopped looking back to see a tall girl running to their direction.

"Hi. I'm Shin Yuna. I think you we're so good. You beat the Chess Prodigy." The tall girl smiled at the two.

Ryujin couldn't believe her eyes she was talking to the most popular girl in school. "Thank You." Chaeryeong said.

"What's your name?" The tall girl asked.

"I'm Lee Chaeryeong." Chaeryeong answered.

"And I'm Shin Ryujin." Ryujin was still in awe.

"Nice to meet you. I'll see you girls arround." She said. They continued to walk towards Lia and Yeji's table at the cafeteria.

"What took you so long?" Lia asked as she waited fot the two to sit.

"We already ordered the food and it's my treat today because my Serena just got back!" Lia adds.

"Hi I'm Hwang Yeji." Yeji decided to introduce herself to the new girl.

"I'm Lee Chaeryeong nice to meet you." Chaeryeong smiles which caused the intimidating cat eyed girl to smile too.

"Oh Ryujin have you heard that Taehyun was beaten in chess?!" Lia brought it up.

"I saw it with my own two eyes." Ryujin said she felt Chaeryeong kick her feet under the table.

"Really?! Did Heeseung finally beat him?" Yeji aslo seemed to be intrested as she eats a spoonful of food.

"Nope it's the one and only Lee Chaeryeong right here." Ryujin pats Chaeryeong's back.

"Chaeryeong do you play chess? How are you able to beat him?" Lia asked.

"It was my first game and it was just a friendly match. It's not that big of a deal."
Chaeryeong shrugged.

"Not that big of a deal my ass. It is if it involves the big five." Yeji said.

"Big five?" Chaeryeong squinted her eyes as if she's trying to read Yeji.

"Choi Yeonjun the fasion influencer, Choi Soobin the top student, Choi Beomgyu everyone's favorite playboy, Kai Kamal Huening the new star and Kang Taehyun the chess Prodigy." Lia answered.

"Look I did beat him in chess but probably everyone challenging him barely understand the game. In a real game of chess even if you are a prodigy there are times you'd lose." Chaeryeong said.

Taehyun easily finished his game after the one he lost with Chaeryeong.

"That will be all for today." Taehyun forced a smile despite the disappointment on the fact that he lost.

The crowd dies slowly as Taehyun put away the chess board and pices.

"We'll look who got beaten by the new girl."
Beomgyu sat on the other side of the table as he was drinking his juice pouch.
