Chaeryeong's POV

With all honesty it still feels sureal how fast I enhanced my rank. I placed my things at my locker. "Chaeryeong!" I heard Taehyun.

I faced him looking curious about what he wants to say.

He hands me a box. "I noticed you still use the school's ice skate. I heard you have an upcoming competition and I think that will be helpful." He said I opened the box.

"Taheyun. This cost like $800. I can't accept this." I said handing him the box.

"I insist. I haven't thanked you properly you helped me pass the test and think of it as congratulations." Taehyun said.

"But this is really expensive." Chaeryeong said pouting.

"You deserve it just make sure you win that skating competition for our school." Taehyun said patting her head.

I couldn't get over how expensive this is. I mean I'm able to afford this but I really won't buy anything like this for myself.

"You should try it on." Taehyun said.

"Shall we go to the ice rink?" I asked we rushed there. I started to put it on. I saw Taehyun kneel down and started to tie the laces on my other feet.

Sunghoon always does this for me but my heart doesn't beat this fast. Kang Taehyun just have something in him that's special.

It felt so comfortable I stepped on the ice. "Ahhh Taehyun gomawo!" I said.

"You're welcome." He said he started to skate with me as he held my hand.

He spinned me once as we continue to glide on the ice. He pulled me close our face we're a few inches apart we can hear each other's fast heartbeat. I can see him staring at my lips and I would like if I say I wasn't staring at his.

"Can I?" He asked for permission I nodded. His lips slowly tried to make its way to mine.

Just when there was an inch. "Lee Chaeryeong!" I heard Lia eonnie as I pushed Taehyun alway causing him to sit on the cold ice.

"Shit. Lia eonnie is here." I said as I helped him up.

"You should've just said no. If you're going to push me that hard." He said.

"I'm sorry." I said scratching my nape as we made our way to Lia eonnie.

"Why eonnie?" I asked.

"I want to congratulate you two. You both did amazing." Lia eonnie said.

"Thank you noona/eonnie." Taehyun and I said.

"You guys should start preparing the bell is about to ring." Lia said before going.

Me and Taehyun rmoved our skating shoes. I placed mine carefully back on the box. "You like it?" He asked and I nodded.

"We'll I'm going to my class." Taehyun said.

"Me too. I'll see you.... around." I awkwardly said before parting ways.

That's when it hit me we almost.... kissed.

After my classes I have an hour window. I went to check my phone.
