Sarah's POV
Wedding is in few days and I do not have a wedding dress yet. And here I am in the mall with my mom to get me a wedding dress.
She bought me to the most expensive and luxurious mall. I don't know why would she do that as she always told me to not buy luxury brand clothes because they are no different to normal ones just have high end labels and higher prices. While she always wore branded ones but I can't question or disobey her, it was something I learned the hard way.
I doubt she would let me buy a dress from any of these boutiques.
And I was right, she took me to the most cheap ones or the ones that had sales. Why bother coming here if she doesn't want to buy anything from here?
We have been to 10 shops and I have looked at so many dresses those were on discount, but did not like any one of them. We were on our way to the next shop and on the way a wedding dress caught my eye, it was a simple but elegant dress with embroidery around it.
It was the dress that I would want to wear on my wedding and feel great for once in my life. But I know I can't because it's a private label, so there is no chance my mom would be buying it for me.
Moreover, I don't know if I would be looking good in that dress. Because that dress was fitted around the top till waist and I don't want to look bad on my wedding day.
When I was looking at the dress my mom came by my side and vocalised every insecurity I had about myself. "There is no way you could fit in that dress. Even if you do there would be fat showing around your waist and stomach and you don't want to look fat in your wedding photos."
With sigh I leave the dress and we go into the last shop. I obviously did not like any dress here because my mind was on that particular dress which I can never get and my mom didn't even force me as she was happy her money was saved.
She just said "No issues if you didn't find any dress, I have already asked your cousin to deliver her dress. Since she got married 2 years ago, it would still be in fashion and we can save on unnecessary spending."
And with that we came back home with no dress and no friend for my wedding. I just love my life.

I could not talk to Alex about telling my friends so I decided to tell half a story to Mia and decided to tell her the whole truth after the wedding.
Today was the last day I was going to college as after that I have planned to take few days holiday as for the wedding and resume my college few days after the wedding once I had spoken to Reynolds about it. So, I have to tell Mia everything today.
When I met Mia I asked her to skip our first lecture and meet up at the cafe.
Mia was sitting in front of me drinking her coffee and eyeing me curiously as to what do I have to say to her that I 'Sarah the nerd' asked her to skip the class. I was fidgeting with my ring under the table deciding what and how to tell everything to Mia.
"Will you please speak up. I know something is wrong with you, and it's not today it's been a week you have been acting weird." She said.

"I- I.." I cleared my throat and said "I have to tell you something, but promise me you will not be mad for not telling you this sooner."
She just looked at me with suspicion and narrowed her eyes but didn't say anything.
"Please Mia."
"Okay. Shoot."
I took a long breath and "There is something, igotengaged it all happened so fast that I did not got any chance to talk to you and you know I don't have a phone otherwise I would have told you it the very first instant and I was so confused on how to tell you. Please don't be mad at me. You are my best friend and I really need you with me."
