Sarah's POV
Since our return from Spain, Alex has seized every opportunity to touch me, and fill my ears, and make me blush with his dirty words.
The next day my college started again, and the prospect of reuniting with friends brought a sense of joy. As a senior now, I found solace in the camaraderie while Mia was the senior most ahead of me, yet a twinge of sadness lingered, knowing that next year I'd navigate college alone while my friends graduated.
Late in the evening, I sought refuge in the kitchen, attempting to distract myself with music while baking. The waffles took a unique turn—Chicken and Waffles: a delectable fusion of crispy fried chicken atop waffles, adorned with a drizzle of maple syrup.
As I prepared the ingredients, an embrace enveloped me, arms wrapping around my waist. I knew on instinct who the intruder could be as the person inhaled loudly keeping his head on my shoulder—Alex.
"What are you doing, Alex? What if someone walks in?" I attempted to extricate myself, but his hold tightened.
"Can't I hug my wife in our own house, especially when she looks irresistibly sexy swaying her hips like that.?" he teased.
"The chef will be here for dinner preparations," I insisted, attempting to escape, but he held me closer, whispering near my ear in a husky voice, "Keep swaying those hips, Dove, and we might just skip dinner." I halted my movements immediately.
Moving my hair aside to the other shoulder, he murmured, "Continue your work; don't let me distract you," resting his chin on my shoulder.
I resumed whisking, feeling his warm breath on my shoulder and he was making it strenuous for me to work by not being distracted by him. Slow, deliberate kisses traced my neck, causing the whisk to slip from my hands, and an involuntary moan escaped.
Opening my eyes, I realized we were still in the kitchen. "Alex, what if someone walks in on us?" I shifted my head, granting him more access, unable to resist as he never stopped his actions.
"No one's around in the estate baby; I gave the chef and others the night off," he replied, unfazed.
"And dinner? What if Maa or Papa returns?" I inquired, my breath heavy.
"Your Maa and Papa are on a dinner date and won't be back soon. As for dinner," he turned me around, trapping me between him and the counter, "I'd love to savor you but we can go with what you're making first."
