It was the last lesson of the day.

Potions with the new professor.

Alina, pansy and Draco were in this class with me.

"I've prepared some concoctions this morning, any ideas what these might be?" Slughorn asked and Hermione the know it alls hand shot up.

"Yes miss granger" he said picking her

"This is veritasirum she said pointing to the first cauldron, this is pollyjuice and this is amoretia the most powerful love potion in the world" she said

"Correct miss granger!" He said congratulating her

"And what are the properties of amoretia?" He asked her

"It smells different to each person according to what attracts them" she answered

"Correct again!" He said

"Now for todays lesson I would like each of you to create me draught of living death for the reward of one vile of liquid luck" he announced

This would be easy.

I learnt draught of living death over spring break in year 4.

We all made our way to our cauldrons and began brewing the potion.

I didn't even bother to open the book resulting in people giving me confused looks.

I cut, squished and squeezed my ingredients and the potion was ready.

I looked around the room, I was the first done.

Dracos had gone green and was getting thicker.

He seemed very annoyed at himself.

Draco was one of the smartest people I knew and I could tell he wasn't happy with the fact his potion had gone wrong.

Seamus's blew up in his face frying the tips of his hair.

The timer finished and slughorn inspected the potions.

"It's perfect!" He said at mine

"Also perfect" he said at Harry's

We were the only ones to get it right.

"You may each take one vile of liquid luck to keep" he said handing us mini bottles.

I took mine and slid it into my robe pocket.

"Class dismissed" he announced and me pansy Draco and Alina headed to the common room.

"How is it you got the potion right? You didn't even open your book!" Alina asked

"I learnt it in 4th year it was easy" I replied as we reached the common room.

We joined Theo and Blaise on the couches.

"Have you guys heard about the party tonight?" Pansy asked

"What party?" Alina asked

"It's a slytherin party and it's starting at 8, are we going?" She replied

"I mean there's nothing better to do" Alina replied

"Y/n how about you?" Pansy turned to me

"Yeah sure il come" I replied and pansy let out a squeal.
