Aqua's acting during rehearsal was not quite on par with what Kana Arima had hoped. Despite that, she thought that Aqua was giving it his all and never once thought badly about him. Of course, Aqua's acting was far better than any of the other main actors aside from Kana.

Aqua leaned his back against a wall near where I am.

"Aqua, are you hesitating?" I say with a snarky tone.

"Piss off. I'm just warming up."

His fiery reply got me thinking that he's more than ready for the real deal. That's good. I wouldn't wanna see him embarrass himself in an already bad show like this one. As evil as that sounds, I'm hoping he gets more opportunities to act.

If he does make it successful, I'll use his connections to my advantage.

"...You must think little of us, right?"

Kana suddenly came up towards us and said those words with a nervous tone. It seems like she's acutely aware of my presence. I'll count that as a success. Self-awareness and awareness in general to me are very helpful for my future plans.

I reply with a smile, "To be honest, I can see why you'd lower your acting ability to match theirs. It would look so out of place it wouldn't count as a joke."

Arima looked at me with a hint of shock spread across her face.

I did a thinking pose and asked Arima. "If you could act to your absolute best, would you do it? If your co-actors somehow got the motivation to act like their lives depended on it, would you do it?"

My intense gaze petrified Arima.

But, as expected, she did not cave into the pressure. Well, there was little pressure I could put on her anyway.

Her expression hardens and catches my eyes without hesitation. "I'd do it."

My smile deepened as I glance towards someone who was approaching us. The one and only Melt Narushima, aka Mr. Bad Actor. I don't mean to be mean, but it's just incredibly evident from his performances that he doesn't care one bit about putting up a good act.

Mr. Melt's acting is so bad I'd rather slash my eyes than watch him act.

Hmm? Melt... Slash? This is one weird feeling...Deja Vu???

I shook my head and forgot about the useless pondering. Mr. Meltf approached us and immediately set his eyes on me. I could tell where this was going, but this can work out in our favor if I play my cards right.

Time to turn this film around.

The moment I laid eyes on her, it was like a stream of radiant lights lit up all at once. Today was extremely rainy, and the whole mood and atmosphere ruined the fun of it. I arrived at the filming site and saw the building we were gonna film in.

I didn't wanna film today.

Though, when I walked inside the building, everything suddenly seemed warm and comfortable. I noticed the gazes of the people present all pointing towards the same three people. It turns out, it was Kana and two other people who were at the center of these gazes.

I approached them trying to find out why the staff was staring at them. I greeted Kana, and she introduced me to some replacement actors for the other one that quit. The replacement actor was about to introduce himself when I saw the girl beside him.

Her radiant aura and extremely beautiful appearance immediately got me hooked.

"Oh my! Who's this pretty girl beside you, Kana?"
