Chapter 3: Fiery Heart

Saturday and Sunday felt like a minute. We became busier and busier. We were even sent into two missions within those aforementioned days. The first was the killings in Latvia, and the second was the deaths of two fairies at the academy.

It's Monday and we will attend classes. The five of us are in a cabin, at kasama ko si Cora sa isang room.

I was illuminated by the sunlight that came from the window; I could hear the blissful chirping of birds as well as the whistling wind that was making the leaves dance gracefully.

"Good mood, I guess?" Cora presumed. I was wearing my uniform and she was decorating her face in front of the mirror.

"No. Not at all." I replied. Nothing makes me happy so far.

It was an eye-appealing attire, which is composed of a white long blouse, a short black skirt that is above the knee, and leathered boots. The blouse provides two holes at its back for the sake of our wings, while the color of the skirt depends on our fairy classification.

I finally joined Cora in front of the mirror to put the badge pin on my upper right chest. It was the Class Orbitals' official badge pin. The silver pin contains one pair of wings with a circular orb in its center.

"Harap, Bea." I saw her blue-pigmented eyes roamed at my long hair.

She then lifted her index finger and motioned it in a circular direction. Doon lumitaw ang tubig at tila pinaikutan ako nito. I felt the coldness of it. She even commanded the water to tie my hair. And now, my hair is perfectly done.

"Ayan! Perfect ang hair. Perfect ang attire. Perfect ka. Saan ka pa?" She playfully exclaimed.

"Bolera. Tara na nga. Tawagin na natin sila. Ayokong malate."

"Good morning people of the brightest universe!"

"Teka, hindi pa ako tapos magmake-up sayo, Luna. Huwag kang malikot!" Rose was holding a yellow lipstick. She was about to put it on Luna.

"You're so caring, Dandie ha! I'm okay, no need na ng lipstick! Kissable. Right, Claude?" Luna energetically uttered. Napatingin ito sa lalaking seryoso na nagbabasa.

"Shut up, Luna." He coldly said.

"Our first class is about to start. Let's go."

I was greeted by the refreshing atmosphere of the academy. Many fairies are happily flying in the air while some are holding a bunch of books, in preparation for their classes.

The first subject was History and Beyond.

The academy has a very distinct curriculum. Generally, the La Paracandia academy molds us through three broad subjects—Combat and Defense, History and Beyond, and Magic Nourishment. Despite its insufficient quantity, the school ensures that students will be at their best forms.
