Chapter 4: Fear Well

"Ano ba yan, ang haggard ko na!" Luna unbelievably remarked as we wandered the vastness of Gardia—the academy's garden.

"Excuse me?" Dandie's eyes squinted.

The two girls shouted in unison. Luna giggled.

Gardia is known as an expansive habitat of plant species. With its enormity, all distinct kinds of flowers, trees, herbs, or any other types of plants can be seen here, all of which have various functions. This is one of the advantages of being a fairy of nature. It is because every Flora in the academy can maximize its uses in different purposes, may it be for healing, clothes, communication, or even for transportation.

We were waiting for our professor in this subject when Claude suddenly approached me from behind. I instantly remembered that day when he heard what I said to Dandie. It still annoys me because Claude would be so full of himself and think that he's significant.

"What do you need?" I asked. I wasn't looking at his irritating face.

He smirked, "You could've said to me directly to perform better. Hindi mo na ako kailangang sungitan." Hinawi niya ang kanyang magulong buhok paitaas.

I slowly walked near him. I saw how his eyes glanced in different directions. "Don't be so self-absorbed, Claude. Because from now on, hahayaan na kitang malagutan ng hininga."

I was about to turn my back on him when grabbed my waist, letting my chest touch his. "What the fuck, Preston Claude?!"

He slowly held a few strands of my hair and then put it behind my ears. My heart was beating fastly. He then glared at me like he was expecting something from me.

"Can you, Beatrix Divina?" He asked, leaving me puzzled.

"Good morning, Neras! How lovely to see you all at my humble abode," a woman who was wearing a sakura-pink glamorous flowy gown, made from flowers, and flying towards our direction greeted. She was approaching us with utmost gracefulness. Her every step is as light as the falling of a leaf; her presence is as enchanting as a blossoming rose. We were all in awe when colorful flowers appeared and beautifully danced in the air. What an entrance.

"She is indeed a definition of a rose that won't be withered," Dandie, with her mouth opened, commented.

"Today, let us rejoice as we gathered here in Gardia. Ready for our lesson in this session?" The professor excitedly asked. The class answered in joy.

Everyone started to wonder what that is.
