The sound of splattering rain against the window is heard throughout the whole café. Aside from that, it's silent. The heavy rain is pouring down onto the streets, many people running by but not caring to step foot into the empty café.

It's not like it's a bad café, it's quite the opposite. It's located in the heart of the city, on a busy street, and it's usually crowded during a good day. People come and go to the café, getting their coffees before work or after a run in the park. The interior is simple but cozy. It has an inviting ambiance, with dim lightning, wooden furniture, and soft music playing in the background. As you enter the café, you're met by the soothing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the sweet smell of pastries that have just been baked. There's a variety of decorations throughout the café, some are artworks of local artists, some are photos of celebrities that have visited the place, and some are achievents from the café itself.

The café is quite popular among the people of Seoul. They offer a wide variety of beverages, including many varients of coffee and tea. They also serve their own special pumpkin spice latte– which is filled with different spices, and only the café workers know its special recipe. Aside from the beverages, they also serve a variety of snacks. They mostly consist of sweet snacks like coffee buns, muffins, other types of cake, and pastries.

People coming in and getting their coffee on the go isn't the only thing the customers do. There's also a lot of places to sit down at, and during the day, a lot of people take a seat and spend time with their friends and family chatting over a nice cup of coffee. There's always chatter being heard by customers– but not today.

Today is a hard day. There is a storm, and people were told to stay inside due to heavy rain and thunder. However, the owner didn't want to close the shop. What if their beloved customers were forced to go on the way and can't get their coffee? That would be a shame.

The bell of the café is heard as the door opens. The sound of the rain gets heavier for a second, until the door closes again with a loud thud.

"Sorry, we're closed."

The brown haired male looks up, his hair is hanging in front of his face, and his mouth is slightly parted because of his words. But as soon as his eyes land on her, he's not so sure if they're really closed anymore.

"Oh, I'm sorry," you mumble. You look around the café. A jazz song is playing in the background softly. You don't recognize the song, but it sounds alright.

Your eyes fall onto he brunette standing at the register. A small smile forms around your lips. You turn around slightly and point towards the door, "I'll go. I didn't realize it was 10 already, I'm sorry again."

The male shakes his head, "No, no. It's fine. I can make one more coffee today. I wanted one on the way back home as well, so it's okay. Come on in."

You bow towards the male."Thank you," you mumble a couple of times. You place your umbrella into the stand and walk inside.

It's warm in the café. The rain has made you very cold. The constant pouring of the rain onto your umbrella didn't really make it better. Even though it's supposed to work for a long time, this heavy rain was worse than any rain there's been before. Your umbrella can only take so much, it seems, as half of your jacket is soaked, and your pants are soaked as well. So are your shoes.

"What can I get you?" the male asks. You look up. "Um, an iced caramel macchiato, please."

"Don't you want something warm?"

The barista titles his head a little as he looks at you. He's just like a puppy– his eyes so curious as he looks at you, his head titled, and it looks like his hair are his ears when he moves his head to the side. Cute.

A faint blush appears on your cheeks. You're not sure how you're still blushing in these conditions of being cold, but somehow you are. Maybe you're just too embarrassed.

"I don't like hot coffee that much, so even if it's freezing outside, I'll take an iced."

He nods at your words, "Noted."

It's silent for a while. The only thing you can hear is the rain hitting the windows and the coffee machine grinding the coffee beans to make your delicious coffee.

You turn around to look at the window. Your eyes are focused on the road in front of it. There's not much to see. Only one person is walking through the storm, an umbrella in their right hand, and their left arm in front of their face to try and stay somewhat dry. But it doesn't really work. A sigh escapes your lips.

If only the storm would just stop, maybe you could find your way back home.
