Chapter 27

Cheryl pov

I woke up to Aurora screaming
So I picked her up and started feeding her while I was feeding I decided to write Toni another letter as I'm guessing she didn't get my other one

Once I had finished writing Liam came in

Liam: Hey I just wanted to pop in and give you These he said handing me some pictures

Oh thank you I said smiling at him

Liam: anyway I've got to get to work but I'll see you later he said giving me a quick hug before leaving

I looked through the photos and I was just amazed at how much she looked like Toni

I wanted Toni to know what a beautiful girl we created so I decided to pop a few of the photos in the envelope that I will post later

Just as I was changing Aurora the midwife came in

Midwife: Hi Cheryl how are you feeling today

I'm good thank you

Midwife: Great I'm glad I'm just coming in to let you know you can go home today

Oh perfect I said excitedly when the midwife left

Did you here that princess we can leave the hospital today that's one step closer to going home I said in a baby voice

After 2 hours I put Aurora in her
car seat then attached it to the pram we then signed out of the ward and walked to the main entrance I then posted the letter and we had a nice walk home

When we arrived I was very surprised to see Ocean home alone looking after Amaris and Xavier

Where's your mum I said concerned

Ocean: oh I don't know she left last night when daddy got home she hasn't been here since

So you've had the babies by yourself all day

Ocean: yeah but it's not that big of a deal I do it all the time

My heart dropped she's 8 years old and taking on the role of mum already she shouldn't even be thinking about looking after her siblings she should be doing schoolwork playing with her friends but no my sister's abandoned them once again

Ocean: it's okay you don't have to worry there both asleep now anyway I just want to let you know and I hope you don't mind but I borrowed $15 off your side table we had no formula left so I had to go buy some please don't be mad

Hunny I'm not mad don't worry okay look sit down and listen to me okay you shouldn't be taking on this massive responsibility your 8 years old your mum can't handle you guys and it's not right to keep abandoning you with the babies so I've been thinking and I will have to talk to your daddy first but how would you like to live with me elsewhere

Ocean: I'd love it Ive wanted to get out of this place for ever now it's just to much for me too handle

Yeah I know sweetheart and you shouldn't have to handle it either

Ocean: Thank you auntie Cheryl I love you lots and lots oh and by the way your daughter is very cute she said going over to the car seat

I just watched smiling as she made funny faces at aurora obviously she didn't know what it was yet but it was just so cute

2 Hours went by and Xavier,Aurora and Amaris were all asleep upstairs
While ocean and I cuddled up on the sofa watching beauty and the beast after the movie had ended ocean was fast asleep so I carried her upstairs and put her to bed

As I walked back downstairs Liam was sat on the couch so I sat next to him and we started talking

Liam: You okay Cheryl

Yeah I'm good I'm just a little bit concerned earlier today I came home from the hospital to ocean looking after Amaris and Xavier she shouldn't be doing that at her age

Liam: yeah I know but there isn't much I can do I've got to work he said looking down

Yeah I know I'm not judging

Liam: I know Stephanie's never any help in our relationship it's all up to me but you are right she's two young to look after 2 babies on her own

Okay so I have got an idea but please don't tell anyone okay

Liam: yeah okay

So I want to move back to Riverdale it was never my choice to come here in the first place I was forced by my mum

Liam: oh she said you chose to come

No I never did she sent me off then made a plan to make it look like I was dead so nobody could find me but I'm kind of glad I came here as I would have never met my beautiful nieces and nephew anyway I'm booking plane tickets to sneak out this country and I want you and the kids to come with me
Please think about it okay it's a hard decision to make I just think you'd all be better off without Stephanie in Riverdale

Liam: um that's a lot to get my head around but wouldn't she come looking for us

No she was never brought up in Riverdale so she doesn't even know where it is the only thing I have to think about is my horrible mothe

Liam: I'm well I'm going to sleep on it first and I'll let you know in the morning okay he said anxiously

Yeah that's fine I said kissing his cheek then going upstairs to sleep

The next day

I got aurora up and placed her in my bed I played with her for 10 minutes then made my way downstairs

Oh hey Liam

Liam: Hey can I talk to you Stephanies still not here by the way

Yeah of course what's up

Liam: I've made my decision I've decided to come with you I think it will be better for all of us to start new somewhere

Wait really are you serious

Liam: deadly serious Stephanies not good for any of us shes just tearing are family apart he said wiping a tear

Hey it's okay I said hugging him I'll book tickets for the next available flight to Riverdale okay

Liam: yeah thank you Cheryl I'm so glad you came to talk some sense into me he said smiling

Of course I said walking out the room and to the laptop in the other room where I booked 6 plane tickets 🎟️

Right Liam we leave tomorrow so get everything packed up and I'll sort the rest out

He smiled at me and it all hit

I'm finally going home ☺️
