"22 year old woman, Claire Helkins, was found dead yesterday evening at 5:37 p.m. in her own home. Her body was found in her living room by one of her neighbors, Georgia Ponner. Ponner was just sending over some food she made for dinner. She rang the doorbell and no one had answered. She knocked multiple times but there was still no answer,'I knocked so many times but she just won't answer. My first thought was that she was probably at work but I saw her speed bike still in the driveway.' Ponner took a key from under the welcome mat to Helkins' front door. Ponner said that Helkins showed her where the key was just in case there was an emergency. After Ponner unlocked the door, when she opened there was a strong smell coming from inside.'It smelled like something rotting. It smelled like blood.' And she was right when she entered the home and saw Helkins on the floor dead. 'I was horrified. Seeing your own neighbor dead on the floor. In a bad way. That's not right.' Ponner says she dropped the food and ran to the phone and called 911."The reporter stated.
It then went to the 911 call,"Receiver:Hello? Ponner:I-I need your help! Receiver:What seems to be the problem, ma'am? Ponner:I-It's my neighbor! Sh-She's dead! Receiver:Ma'am, I'm going to need you to calm down. What's your location? Ponner:153 Dernice Street. Now please! Hurry! Receiver:We're on our way ma'am. *click* BEEEP!
The reporter continued,"The police arrived 5 minutes later after the call and were shocked to see what was the crime scene was. Investigators looked over the 22 year old's corpse. They say she was stabbed deeply from her back and out from her stomach which to say she was impaled. They also say that she was also impaled through her throat. And the weapon was stabbed in her right eye and left there. The weapon the attacker used was a machete. Investigators are still trying to find out how she was killed and what the purpose of the killing was. The murder is left unfound due to no evidence of DNA, fingerprints, footprints, nor witnesses. They are taking the girl's body to the station to find out more information on the killing. Investigators are questioning the woman's close friends, and co-workers. Her family was devastated to the news of her brutal death and plan to give her a proper funeral after the case is solved. We will have the results of the questioning tomorrow at 10."Then the news was over.
"Heheheheheh....."Chuckled the man. He sat in his living room chair with remote in hand. Pressed the button and the TV blacked out.
"They wouldn't even know it was me... Since I don't even exist to the ones she knows and loves."He starts to laughing in amusement.
"Now all I have to do is wait until tomorrow to get the results."He says as he gets his jacket on. Put his room keys in his pocket. Pulled his hoodie up and left.
{Time Skip}
At precisely 10, the man turned the TV on. The same reporter was on.
"Next, we have the results of the questioning and investigations of the brutal murder of 22 year old Claire Helkins. We spoke to the woman's supervisor, Jeremy Blaire, the manager of Murkoff Corporation,'After hearing the death of Ms.Helkins, I.... I was very disappointed. She was very loyal to me as my second hand assistant.' We asked him if there was anyone who had hatred or anything against her,'No. From my beliefs. No.' We then talked to Helkins' friends and family and they too have no information about anyone against her."The reporter says. The man grins evilly.
The reporter goes on,"Investigations has been still going on in the home of the 22 year old. Police had found what perhaps to be a wedding dress," The man's grin falters,"The wedding dress was found at the corner of the woman's bedroom, it seemed to have blood on it but the blood did not match the woman's DNA and seems to belong to someone else. Police also found what appears to be an engagement ring lying on the floor of her room. We still do not know who this ring and DNA belongs to but we will be investigating more later on and hopefully, we will solve this case."The reporter finished and the man clicked the button off. The TV blacked out and he sits in the chair in total silence.
Shit.... Thinks the man gritting his teeth.
"Heheheh."His mood changes into amusement,"They'll have fun trying to catch me...."
{Time Skip}
It's been 6 years since the killing of the woman named Claire Helkins. They haven't found the murder and when they couldn't, they closed the case. The woman's family planned he funeral. It was raining at the burial, relatives and siblings cry as they lay the coffin into the ground. As soon the coffin was in the ground, they covered the coffin with dirt. After the burial, everyone left with tears in their eyes.
Except for one. A man. Standing in the rain and staring at the headstone which read:

August 4, 1993-May 12, 2015
A good friend and loving part of the family.
Also an ungrateful slut and backstabbing wife... Thought the man scowling.
"How does it feel to be lost, alone, and hurt? Hm, darling?"Asks the man to the headstone. As if she was really there,"Doesn't feel nice does it?"He grins evilly and snickers.
"Rest in peace... Darling..."Says the man lowly. He takes a bloody red colored rose from inside of his jacket. And places it down in front of the headstone.
"Sweet dreams, Claire... I, Edward Gluskin, your loving husband, thanks you for freeing me... And for at least giving me a chance to be a different man."Edward says,"I... I'm sorry... You know how a man gets when he wants to know a woman... Again, I'm sorry but..."He pauses. Then he darkens,"You are nobodies mother. You weren't even worthy enough to be the mother of my children."
Edward continued to stand there. Tears of anger start to leak from his eyes,"I gave you all the love I had left in me,"he says angrily as more tears of anger flow out of his eyes,"but you used it against me."
"You..."He pauses and his expression changes,"You had me work for it, you minx."He says in a growl.
"But that's all in the past,"he says as he kneeled down,"and the past, that we lived in,"he pulls out a ring from his pocket,"was just a nightmare. A nightmare that never ended."He states and flips the ring which landed on the dirt right next to the rose. Edward gets back up.
"We.... We could've been beautiful..."He says and walks away,"But that would've been a whole different story. In another life."Edward says with a sneer as he walks away from Claire's grave.
When he's gone, all there is left is Claire's engagement ring. Along with, a red rose.

*This ending probably sucked, but I tried. If you are wondering what Eddie has been doing for the past 6 years, let's just say he worked as a tailor. He lived stubbornly and a little bit depressed. He had a mental illness called, Bi-Polar Disorder, without even knowing he did. He camouflaged very well with society and didn't ever show his inner self. There were times when he would visit Claire's grave and put down a red rose with the ring now buried under the grass which grew. So yeah. Hope us enjoyed this ending. And I finished this ending on my last day of school. Yay!*
