Now that things had come to this, the problem should have been out of Sarada's control. It wasn't something that ninja from Konoha should have put their noses in.

No matter how good of friends Boruto and Kagura were, the problem of the New Seven Ninja Swordsmen and their ninja blades should have been left up to the Village of the Mist to take care of. People from other villages had no right to interfere.

Even if it meant putting an end to the school field trip, Sarada knew in her heart that the right decision was to tell Shino and Anko sensei about everything and let them figure out the best course of action.

"We have to report this to the teachers..." Sarada urged Boruto in the direction of the hotel, starting to head that way herself.

But Boruto grabbed her hand.

"?!"

Surprised, Sarada turned back to look at her childhood friend. She had a bad feeling he would do something like this. And she was right. "You aren't seriously trying to go after him yourself, are you?!"

Boruto's face lit up into a smile. "Sorry Sarada. It's my duty as school field trip rep to make sure the curtain closes well on this school field trip."

After staring into his eyes for a while, she let out a big sigh. I'm... also an idiot.

It was a given. There was no way Boruto would back down in this type of situation.

"Even if I try to stop you, the look on your face is telling me you won't listen. If that's the case... I'm coming with you."

"Wha--?!"

Now it was Boruto's turn to be surprised.

"It's my job to keep an eye on you during this trip. Because of that, I gotta follow you until the end, even if you don't want me there." As she said this, Sarada's face also lit up into a smile. "Just for the record, I don't agree with this plan though."

Boruto sighed, a troubled expression on his face. "It wasn't like I was expecting you to say that you'd help me or anything..."

Sarada stuck out her face and interrupted Boruto's grumbling. "Quit your whining! Besides, what do you think you can even do on your own?"

"I'll do something, ya know!"

"You're such an idiot."

They butted heads.

And then, a voice interrupted their bubbling fight. "I did something terrible to Kagura that I can't take back..." Hachiya hung his head as he spoke. More than trying to speak out, it seemed like he was talking to himself. Maybe he thought of Kagura like a friend of sorts.

Upon hearing the remorse of the delinquent ninja, Boruto and Sarada didn't feel like arguing anymore. Everyone had the same goal. Now they just had to figure out a realistically executable plan.

"It's decided! The three of us will go save Kagura." Clenching his fist, Boruto let out a motivational shout.

"Boruto, I understand how you feel, but without information, we can't do anything. If we don't find any leads, then at this rate..."

"Oi! Won't that start a war...?" Hachiya overreacted to Sarada's words. It seemed like he was terrified at the prospect of war. Or perhaps he was scared of Hoshigake Shizuma who was trying to start one?

Either way, the delinquent boy who had caused a fuss at the Memorial Park was no longer a part of his personality.

"Don't freak out. I've got a plan," affirmed Boruto.

Both Hachiya and Sarada turned towards him. Sarada with a more relieved and awaiting stance, Hachiya with fear in his eyes.

"Listen, this isn't the start of a war... It's just... A fight!"
