"So... you're gonna stay at my place longer?" Joshua asked with excitement in his voice.

"Yeah, I like to stay with you, staying at home is boring, so yeah." Jeonghan replied, partially lying about his reasons.

"Okay! I will tell my parents about you." Joshua said eagerly.

Joshua couldn't help but think that Jeonghan had feelings for him, and he enjoyed teasing him. His plan was working perfectly. Now, all he had to do was hang out with Jeonghan a bit more, and then he would confess his feelings. He was already excited, thinking about the pickup lines that would make Jeonghan blush. His mind was running wild with ideas.

"That's why you came home earlier today? It's only 8 pm! Oh, I forgot to tell you. I have work tomorrow too." Joshua mentioned.

"Yeah... you never told me where you're working!"Jeonghan replied.

Joshua panicked a bit internally. He didn't want to reveal his fame and job just yet.

"Ah... It's not something special, just something normal. Wait, my mom is calling!" Joshua quickly used his mother's call as an excuse to change the subject.

Listening to the conversation, Jeonghan was curious to hear how Joshua's mother was like.

"Hello, darling! We've arrived at the airport. We are coming in 2 hours. Are you okay? You told me that you have something to tell me. What's up?" Joshua's mother's voice sounded sweet and caring.

"Ah.. I'm excited to see you guys! I wanted to tell you that a boy, named Jeonghan, will stay at our home for a while. He works the whole day, so you will have to see him only in the evening." Joshua explained.

"Why are you speaking in Korean?" his mother asked.

Then he switched to English, knowing that Jeonghan didn't understand a word of it.

"Mom. I had to speak in Korean so he would hear that I've told you about him. He doesn't understand English, so listen closely. I have a crush on him. I want to confess to him soon, so don't try to make any weird moves that could ruin my plan! Please, just act normal with him!" Joshua pleaded.

Jeonghan, who didn't understand English, looked a bit confused but caught the gist of their conversation.

"Ohh! I see that now. My boy has a crush~~" his mother teased.

Joshua giggled. "Mom, don't tease me... I really like him, I've known him for a month."

"Okay, darling. We will stick to your promise! Don't forget we are coming soon. Bye!!" Joshua's mother said cheerfully.

"Bye, Mom!" Joshua closed the call.

"Alright, I've told them about you!" he said, looking at Jeonghan.

"Okay... Are they coming soon?" Jeonghan asked.

Joshua found it odd that Jeonghan seemed to understand their conversation despite not knowing English. "Yes, they are. Do you want to watch a movie before they arrive?"

"Sure..." Jeonghan replied, sounding a bit uneasy, as he thought about Seungkwan texting him once he got home.

"You told me you like dramatic romance... you can choose the movie you want us to watch" Joshua suggested.

Jeonghan's eyes widened. "Finally! I have a lot of movies in mind! I promise you, you'll like it!" he said excitedly.

Joshua was delighted to see Jeonghan so enthusiastic. His excitement was a new and wonderful feeling.

"Ah... You don't like gay romance, right?" Jeonghan asked with a disappointed look.

Joshua's heart raced. Had he accidentally revealed too much? Did Jeonghan like him? He decided to play it cool. "I like everything. You can put it on if you want..."

"Okay!! Do you have some popcorn? I'm hungry..."Jeonghan asked.

"We have some. Wait here, I'm making some popcorn for you!" Joshua said as he got up and went to the kitchen to prepare the popcorn.

As Jeonghan waited, he received a text from his brother, Seungkwan. "I'm okay, Jeonghan. They both are on a romantic date!" Seungkwan's message read.

Relieved, Jeonghan sighed. His brother was okay, and everything seemed to be going well for now. Life felt beautiful in that moment.
