"Met Him Last Night is the first single off of my upcoming album, X Rated." I smile at the cameras. "It was originally meant to be a female duet but I wanted to do something new."
"It's featuring your husband, Xavier Romano." Jimmy Kimmel states and I slowly nod my head. "How was that for you?"
"My husband has never wanted to record a song with me so I had to lie that Colson wanted to record a track." Everyone laughs as I playfully roll my eyes. "Suffice to say that he was not impressed when I played the track back to him and all he could hear was my vocals against his."
Jimmy laughs at my words.
"Prior to us even dating, I had proposed the idea of working on a song together and he turned it down." I purse my lips and everyone laughs at my reaction. "Instead he recorded a song with my brother which led them becoming the best of friends so that hurt my feelings."
"Now that you have worked with Xavier, what can you tell us about the experience?"
"I don't know if I could ever work on a music project with him again." I grimace as the audience laughs. "We are both perfectionists in our own right and he tried to take control of the song which annoyed me. I have been experimenting more with my sound for this album and Xavier just wanted to stick to the basics. We butt heads quiet a lot throughout the process but I am so grateful to have worked with this man who is so talented."
Jimmy smiles at this, "You guys are one of my favorite couple who really are keeping the punk rock image alive."
