Jamie; (laughs shaking her head) Mama you know Chres better than me. You knew who him and y/n were. What they had. What do you think I should do?
Mrs.August: Look Jamie it's not my place to tell you two what to do. The only thing I can say is You and Chres have been together for 6 years. Don't give up on him but don't hold him back. Maybe you guys should just take a break. See where things go.
Jamie: So just let him go. Don't fight for what we have?
Mrs.August: first ask yourself is the fight worth fighting.
The door alarm goes off.
Cj: Daddy!!! (Runs up to him)
Chres: hey. (Picks him up)
Mrs.August: (walks out of the kitchen and down the hall)
Chres: (looks at her)
Mrs.August: (points towards the kitchens) come on Cj let your parents talk.
Chres: (puts him down)
Cj: (follows Mrs.August)
Chres: (walks in the kitchen)
Jamie: (wipes her tears)
Chres: (exhales) Jamie..
Jamie: do you love her chres?
Chres: I do.
Jamie; so what was I? Did you even love me?
Chres: what Jamie of course I did.
Jamie: did? (Nods) okay.
Chres: I'll always be here for you and Cj? Oaky.
Jamie: (chuckles a little) I'm sorry I just can't believe it's this easy for you.
Chres: (looks down) Jamie we met and had Cj the same year.
Jamie: so?
Chres: everything was rushed. We never got to know each other.
-that night-
11:30pm
Chris: (rapping along to lil baby's lyrics to Bri)
Bri: (laughing shaking her head)
You: (recording them)
Shay: oh he's putting his soul in that.
Prince: (walks over) baby mama.
Shay: (smacks her teeth and told her eyes) it's almost my bedtime.
Chris: (daps him up) what's good Jacob.
Shay: nothing if he's around.
They bring more shots to y'all section.
Bri: (stand up) Oo thanks. (Starts passing them out)
Prince: (sits next to Shay)
You: (look at them) Prince where is Ashanti?
Prince: Aye that's not my problem. (Gets a shot)
Bri: (gives one to Shay)
Shay: girl give me two.
Y'all laugh.
Chres texts you
C: You still out?
Y: Yes. I'll be here for a minute. Everything okay?
C: Jamie doesn't want to sleep here with me tonight. She's wants to take Cj to a hotel but I'm not going to let that happen. I told her I'd get a hotel.
