20 minutes later

You: (walk out the bedroom in shorts and a T-shirt)

Chloe: (Walks out the bathroom in her swimsuit) really mom? Can't you put on pants?

You: where have you been?

Arjay: (Walks out Chloe's room)

You: (blink) Arjay? (Looks at Chloe)

Chloe: I was at the studio and invited Arjay.

You: oh okay.. well welcome.

Chloe: (Walks in her room)

You: (whispers)Arjay...

Arjay: (turn to you)

You: have she asked about the Choreo?

Arjay: (Laughs) no.

You: (laugh) okay. 

Arjay: (Walks back into the room)

You: (daydream a while then walk downstairs)

10 minutes later

You: (walk outside with a platter of food) I wonder how many of these college students are grown men.

Shay: (Laughs) you'll never know.

You: that one over there looks at least 25.

Shay: if he is then send him my way.

You: (laugh)

Josh: (runs in jump in the pool)

Girls: (screaming/giggling)

You: (shake your head) I can't lie. I miss those days.

Kayla: sissy!! (Runs up and hug you)

You: Heyyyy. How'd you know about this?

Kayla: everyone is posting it.  You better be careful who might show up.

You: Zoey knows these people. Plus KB is here anyways where is Rosie.

Kayla: (looking around) where did this g...oh thee she is..Rose your auntie wants to see you.

Rose: (trying to get into the pool) No!

Shay: what?

You: Rosie get your behind over here!

Rosie: (folds her arms then walk over)

Kayla : she's so bad. .

You: payback for mama. (Looks at Kayla)

Kayla: Girl...oh snap. (Looking at someone) what is he doing here.

You: who? (Sits Rosie on your lap) hey mami.

Kayla: Isaiah. He went to college with me.

You: which one? He's got to go then.

Kayla: the one with the beard.

You: I told you. I wonder how Zoey knows him?

Kayla: I'm wondering too. I'm gone find out. (Walks over)

You: still the same Kayla. (Laughs)

Rosie: Auntie can I go swimming now?

You: do you know how to swim?

Rosie: I can learn.

You: (laugh then give her kisses)

Rosie: (giggles)
