The day of the big game.

I just got home from school and all I have been doing is relaxing. I don't mind coming late at all.

"Lilah, start getting ready." Mom throws a pillow at me.

"Mom it only starts in 3 hours I have time."

"No you don't, Josie is gonna be here in 1,5 hours max cause she will want you guys to go to something before the game."

"I used to have friends Lilah." Mom rolls her eyes at me.

I get off the couch and make my way to my room. I take out the outfit I'm wearing today and head to the bathroom.

I take a quick shower and began to get ready.

I looked at my phone and saw a notification from Josie.

Delilah: yeah.

Josie🧚🏼‍♂️: okay good, I'm coming in 15 mins. Maybe we can go get snacks before the game.

Delilah: my mom so jinxed this.

I put my phone down and went downstairs to my mom.

"Whose Jersey is that?" Mom scans my fit.

"It's Xander's, please don't ask questions. I was forced to put this on."

"I wasn't going to say anything," Mom says adding sarcasm.

"Anyways can you please send money to my account? I'm going to get snacks with Josie in a few."

"Okay baby, I'll send. Send me pictures okay."

I hugged my mom and went outside to wait for Josie.

I have a good feeling about today. Can't wait to have so much fun.
