JJ awoke with a start. In the process, he fell on Mikey again, and then they were both awake. Despite the sitaution and panic JJ felt at first, he couldn't help but feel relieved at how cool it was in here.

That place, exactly, being a prison cell.

"Ha, the irony!" JJ realized, suddenly feeling confident. "Little do these kidnappers know, I've made countless videos on my YouTube channel about me breaking out of prison!"

He started cracking his knuckles. "Don't worry Mikey, we'll be out of here in no time."

"What?" Mikey asked, still taking in his surroundings.

JJ gave him a moment. That was usually all it took for Mikey to get booted up. But suddenly, they were both interuppted by an unfamiliar voice.

"Are you sure you want to leave so soon? After all, this is a nice break from the devastating weather outside."

This was one of those rare times that JJ had been truly startled. There was a person stanced against the far wall, and he'd been unoticable up until now.

"Wait a minute..." JJ thought. "This guy looks familiar."

He concentrated for a second. Suddenly, it all came back to him.

A long time ago, there had been a massive kidnapping spree within their home village. Unfortunetly, Mikey had been one of the victims. There had been a ransom of one million diamonds for his return by sunset, and since JJ hadn't had enough, he decided to do one of the things he did best, which was saving Mikey on his own. Of course, he'd succeeded; but not before killing the leader of the kidnappers.

Or so he thought. Right in front of them, was that same guy.

But, how? JJ had watched him die. There was no way.

"H... how are you alive?" Was the first question JJ asked. It wasn't out of the blue either, because he could tell, he could just tell that the leader remembered him too. It was impossible to forget, after all.

"It's nice to see you too..." The leader began. "I don't know your name, but I certaintly know your friend's; Mikey, if I'm correct. We've met before."

"We have?" Mikey asked, not seeming to remember anything related to his past kidnapping.

"Yes, but only because you kidnapped him!" JJ snapped. "Just like you've done now! Let us go!"

"I think you're mistaken," It was strange how calm he was acting. "It was my trusted friends that brought you here, not me. They were saving you from the deadly heat conditions outside. They said that I would enjoy you two, and I certainly am. It's been fun so far."

"I seriously doubt that." JJ wanted to say out loud. "The same people that destroyed Mikey's house and forced him into custody, running around and saving people for the sake of being nice. Yeah, right."

"And, I can definetly release you now." The leader continued. "I've only been keeping you both in this cell so that you didn't run off without my knowledge. Feel free to go anywhere you want, except outside. The heat is still very dangerous, and I wouldn't want any of you putting your lives at risk for no good reason."

"Actually, we have a reason for wanting to escape." JJ pointed out, trying to keep his cool from this point on. "We have a team to catch up with, and we're on a mission; finding a cure for the zombie apocolaypse."

"Zombie apocolaypse? Why are you trying to involve yourself with such a threat? Down here, no zombies have ever managed to make it past our security. Please consider staying. And you won't have to worry about another zombie again; you'll be safe."
