As Luck would have it as you walk toward your room your eyes brimming with tears, Mia was standing outside your room when she saw you, her eyes widened, and she rushes toward you.
"Woah what happened Y/n ?" she asks, her words trail as she notices the scar and bruises, She remains quiet and brings you to your room. You got an idea that she got to know that you are Shu's soulmate.
The Irony... This word Soulmate sounds so bittersweet now, however, just some hours ago it must have sounded so elating.
"So, soulmates, huh?" Mia says after some time while you both were sitting on the bed, you were staring at a now-so-interesting bedsheet.
"You are not going to blame me that I don't tell you or Shu'' - You ask lowly afraid that she will also lash out at you like him.

Shu and you needed to finish your conversation but you weren't about to head back to his floor without calming down your emotions, it took you a couple of hours before you were sure you would not lash out at him or would cry if he said the wrong thing.
You bit your lip in anticipation as the lift gates opened to his floor, You stepped out and went to his training room, You stepped inside, and your gaze ran around the room taking in everything, Lights were dim, and the Ai was also off, Shu was launching continuously with a blank look
You walk up to him "It's not good to train this late " - you say lowly
His eyes darted toward you then back to the stadium "I thought you left " - he said as he kept his launcher aside and sat on the nearby couch while drinking water.
"I left the rooftop, Shu, not the city, we are not going to get anywhere while yelling at each other "You wrapped your arm around yourself as a shield. This person had your whole heart whether he wanted it or not you are not sure what will you do if he turned you away
He gazes at you with a fake half-smile that you hate -' that fake smile that he wears when he conceals his emotions' It makes your heart ache, to think that he felt to wear it even with you "What can I do for you Y/n?
You sigh as you sit on the table on the front of the couch without touching him and keep your palms together to keep them from fidgeting.
"I was 12 when I found out I had a soulmate, My mom was thrilled but I just want to live my life " You kept your gaze locked with your hands If you are going say all this then you can't bother to see the irritation in his eyes
"At 13 I was just going through the news when I found out you got injured on his eye, Our scars matched at that point I didn't know what to do .....
