Tartaros Chapter - Immorality and Sinners

Shana's P.O.V

I was brushing Kilala's Furr making sure she was ready to meet up with Erza and Mirajane to protect the former chairman. "You sure, you're feeling ready to help them?" Natsu asked approaching us. 

I gave him a simple nod. "We gotta do everything we can to make sure Tartaros doesn't activate Face, right?" I assured him that I feel fine. "Wendy healed me the best she could." He didn't look too convincing. 

Well, I did almost get blown up twice. He closed the gap between us as he tore a piece of his clothing off. "Huh?" I muttered confused. 

"You might be healed, but you're covered in blood." He said using a piece from his clothes to wipe the blood from my face. 

I scrunch my face even though he was being gentle. "Just promise you won't do anything reckless." He told me. 

I let out a small chuckle. "Can't make any promises. I did learn from the best." I smiled sheepishly. 

Natsu carefully puts his hands on my waist as he plopped me on Kilala. "You keep her safe for me, okay, Kilala?" He pats the twin tails head. Kilala nods in reply. 

"Hey, um Natsu..." 

He turns his eyes to me. I gulp thinking about if now's the best time to tell him. I then remember we are at war. Telling him will only be a distraction. I shook my head. "Never mind. It can wait." 

Natsu looked like he wanted to protest to find out what I wanted to say but decided not to push it. "I love you." 

I gasped hearing him say that. He hasn't said those words since the ball. A small red line ran across my face. "Love you too!" I turn my attention to Kilala. "Let's go Kilala." I patted her head her cue to go.

While on their way to protect the chairman, Erza and Mira stopped for a quick break. "Hey, listen..." Mira spoke breaking the awkward silence. "You know that Jellal is one of their targets, too. If you'd rather be guarding him, Shana and I can handle the chairman." She suggested knowing how worried the redhead must be. 

Erza glanced back at her. "For one thing, Jellal is quite tough to track down. Even if he is found he's more than capable of defending himself. I'll find him. But our first priority is protecting the chairman." She assured Mira that there was no reason to be worried about Jellal. 

"Tha's true," Mira mutters understanding the situation. "His life is tied to that of every wizard alive right now. " 

"Hey!" I called out to Erza and Mira who were a few feet away from me. "Finally caught up with you guys," I said getting off Kilala. 

Both S-Class wizards gasped upon seeing my appearance. "Shana. What happened to you?"
