Sebastian’s POV

I had to search through our group chat to find the video. I didn’t have it on my phone. I didn’t want to have it on my phone. I never wanted to see it again.

I didn’t even watch it until the end. I saw maybe a few seconds of it before my whole fucking world collapsed.

“I am done with this shit,” Rhys said as he started walking away. “I don’t give a fuck about anything you have to say, Sebastian.”

I grabbed his upper arm and stopped him.

“Give me a second,” I mumbled as I looked back down at my phone.

Rhys sighed and leaned back against the front door.

I tightened my jaw as soon as I found it. I gulped and tried to take a deep breath. I couldn’t, though. My lungs weren’t listening to me. I couldn’t fucking breathe and I couldn’t even think.

I gave my phone to Rhys.

He looked at the screen and furrowed his eyebrows.

“Watch the video,” I said, making him look up at me. “Just turn the volume down. I don’t want to listen to that shit.”

Rhys looked back at the screen and touched it. He turned the volume down and started watching the video that shattered my heart into a million tiny pieces.

I kept my eyes on his face. I had no idea how he would react, but I knew that his world would come crushing down just like mine did. He loved her so much and he was about to find out who she really was.

His face went from confused to surprised in a matter of seconds and I knew it was the first time her face was visible on the screen.

His eyes widened and I saw him gripping the phone tightly. He started breathing heavily and anger flashed in his eyes.

He tightened his jaw and stopped the video. He looked up at me and I shivered a little. I never saw him this angry.

“Are you fucking kidding me?” he mumbled quietly, his voice cold and laced with hatred.

“I am not kidding,” I said, trying to remain calm. “It’s her on the video.”

Rhys tightened his hand around my phone even more.

“Tell me that you are fucking with me, Sebastian,” he said, narrowing his eyes at me.

I knew he wouldn't take it well. That was the main reason I never showed him the video before.

I took a deep breath and released it slowly.

“I am so sorry you had to find out like this…,” I spoke but he interrupted me.

“You are serious, aren’t you?” he asked, his eyes widening. “You are fucking serious?!”

I furrowed my eyebrows a little.

“I am, Rhys,” I mumbled. “I don’t…”

“Who else has this video?” he asked, clenching his jaw. “Who else saw this?”

I was silent for a moment, His reaction confused me a bit. What was he…

“Sebastian!” he screamed after I didn’t respond.

“The people in the group chat,” I said. “No one else.”

Rhys looked back at my phone and started typing something. His hands started shaking.

“Look, I didn’t want you to find out like this,” I sighed. “I know that you’ve been in love with her for a while now. You didn’t deserve this, Rhys. I didn’t deserve it. Not after everything I did to protect her. Not after…”
