DAWN:[saddens a bit]Well yeah...but compared to me I really didn't do much
...it took me alot of years to even become the coordinator queen of Sinnoh even then i depended on your teachings...Serena grew into a mature women but I stayed as a girl....trying to fill in my mother's shoes still....
ASH:[places a finger on her lip]Don't say that dawn,You may be not like Serena but your dawn,a Great Girl who grew alot in these years....a girl who has alot of compassion and sincerity for her work...you love your work and Pokemon like no other...I will be honest with you,even though your dream was becoming the top coordinator in our journey together you took out your precious training time and cheered me on in gym battles.... honestly you really are a great friend a boy could ask for....so don't feel you didn't grow up or accomplished anything,You did a whole lot more than you can see right now trust me...
[Dawn felt her face get hot real fast,she was a blushing mess,she got that sudden surge of nostalgia when she heard Ash give his motivational speech to her just like old times...just further proving how madly in love she was and still is now...Dawn made a decision it's now or never.]

ASH:[smiles]It's alright Dawn...you don't have to feel like that,You see....[embarrassed a bit]I also kind of liked you since our journey...it's just I had so much on my mind and I was pretty dense back then so I didn't notice all your hints...
DAWN:Wait[gasps with realisation]

DAWN:[worried look]What about Serena?i don't want you to cheat on her with me... even though I love you,I don't want to hurt her...
