road trip + fun fair | sumin 🧸 (#3)

-Road trip in Seoul, and a teddy bear! With Sumin ✨

Trying to forget about what you had to experience just a few hours ago, you decide to go on a walk, when you suddenly see Sumin appear infront of your door.
You could swear your soul left your body.

'I- Sumin?! What are you doing here?' you say, hardly able to breathe.
'Let's go on a road trip. We can get snacks along the way, too.'
'But why all of a sudden?' You're very confused...
'Because... I don't mean to be nosy, but.. I could kinda hear the conversation that you and Junghoon had last night..
You see, I followed him after hearing that he left the room. And... I knew he'd be mad if I interrupted, so I just listened...'
'Sumin-...'
'I'm sorry, okay? I wanted to treat you to something nice, since I know you're probably upset. Let's go, shall we?' he grabbed your hand and quietly tiptoed towards the door. You glance over to see the members still snoozing away on the couch. You slightly chuckle and leave with Sumin.

'Where are we going for the day? Just a drive around?'
'Yes, and we can stop by for some winter snacks, too.' he smiles and opens the door for you.
'Thanks.' you smile back and close the door.
'Shall we get going?' Sumin says as he starts the engine and reverses out of the parking lot.

You enjoy the beautiful view, the intimidating high-rise buildings, the beautiful trees and bushes, and all the advertisement boards on different shops.
'Ahhhh, look at that food stall!' Sumin exclaims.
You all look to the right at the same time, seeing the amount of people who are cueing for it. You seem curious, but you can't stop now since you really just left.

'Maybe we should stop when we see a supermarket, with many food stalls. Not just one on the street.' Sumin says with a shrug.
'Yea, i agree.' You say, and he nods as he continues as he drives forward.

'Hey, look! It's our group!!'
Sumin immediately turns around, and you do too. It's xikers on a huge display board!
'Waaaah, I should take a picture!' When Sumin stops at the red light, you quickly take your phone out and take a picture.

'I can't wait to show the hyungs!!'
'Me too, I wonder what they'll think!' Sumin agrees.
After, instead of speaking, you just admire the view.

Soon, Sumin stops in another parking lot.
'Let's get food here. I'm starving.'
'And after, we'll go to that fun fair.' Sumin says as he points to a big fun fair, with a ferris wheel, a disco pang pang and many more rides.
'Ooh, looks fun.' You smile and walk into the big supermarket.
There's so much to see. On your left, there's old ladies selling fruits and vegtables. On your right, there's people selling street foods, like hotteok and bibimbap.

'Wow, I don't even know where to start. There's so muc...'
A man selling tteokbokki caught your attention.
'Hey, let me get a bowl of tteokbokki.'
He stops and turn around, to see the mouth-watering rice cakes that are covered in spicy sauce.
'Ooh, I want one too!'
'Ok ok, fine. I'll just get a large bowl.'

You order the food and go to sit down.
'Eat up!' His widen. You can tell he really likes it.
The first bite was glorious. The tteokbokki just burst into your mouth, the spicy flavour emerging out of it.
'This is so, so, so good??' You say excitedly.
'Woww.... it really is!!' Sumin mumbles, with almost two pieces in his mouth at once. You chuckle.

After finishing a lot of food and buying some groceries, you and Sumin put them into the car and run to the fun fair, while holding his hands.
'Lets goooooo!!' Sumin says, grinning happily.
'So, which ride should we go on first?'
'How about the disco pang pang.....' he suggests.
'Hey, wouldn't that be so scary?? What if we fly out?!' You say, as its your first time in real life...
'No, ahaha. It's not that scary, you just have to hold on to the rail, and whoever you're riding with.' Sumin chuckles.
'Come onnn!' You still shake your head, but the member won't back down. Instead, he walks you over to the ride.

'Three people.'
Sumin pays and you get onto the ride. It's surprisingly popular. You've seen it in kdramas.
'Oh no...' you say as you feel the ride start to activate....

'AAHH!' You scream, holding onto the railing for dear life, as Sumin does the same, instead less scared. He laughs at your behaviour, and he blurts out, 'ITS GETTING FASTER!!'
He was telling the truth. Suddenly, your grip falls loose and you slip off. Luckily, Sumin is able to catch you in his arms. His hands went from your waist, to your shoulders as the ride continues to move.
'I've got you, don't worry.' He smiles. You're still scared, and in shock, and happy that he caught you.
'Thank you so muuuuch?-'
The ride just keeps spinning. You don't know when it'll even stop...

[Back at the dorms...]

'Hey, where's Y/N and Sumin hyung?' Hyunwoo asks, rubbing his eyes.
'Yea, they're not in their rooms?' Junmin replies, just as confused. Junghoon's face has a perplexed expression printed onto it.
'I don't know.. maybe they're out? I'll facetime Sumin.' Minjae says as he dials his number and presses the button.

The ride is finally over. You still can't even comprehend what happened in those past 10 minutes of your life.
You see a huge teddy bear and rush over to it, holding Sumin's hand.
'Let me get one for you then, I used to play basketball when I was young, so this'll be easy.'

He won the largest teddy bear for you. You couldn't be more happy.
'Thank youuuu, Suminn!' you hug it tightly as Sumin pats your head.
'You're welcome, Y/N.'

His phone suddenly rings.
'What the... ah, it's Minjae. Let's answer it.'
'Hey, everyoneeeeee!' Sumin says as he waves to the camera. You get into the frame and wave too.
'Guys, what are you all doing out? Did you even ask to go out together?'
'Well I did plan it, but... i wanted to surprise y/n early.' he gives you a smile and you smile back. His long, blonde fluffy air blowing in the wind.
'Ah, I see..' Minjae replies.

'So, I see you're at a fun fair... looks funnn!' Jinsik answers, making his voice sound like he really wants to go.
'Yeah, it's really fun, but also quite scary.'
'Hey, Y/N, what's that in your hands?'
The big teddy bear you managed to hide earlier now came into view.
'Ah, this... I won it at the basketball stall, over there. Well, Sumin did.'
Sumin moves the camera towards the stall.
'Woww, i bet I could've won more prizes.' Hunter says confidently. He also played basketball when he was younger, and more different sports...
'Yeah yeah, dream on.' Sumin says with a laugh. 'Anyway, we must get going, so see you soon! Byeeee!'
'Goodbye! Be safee!' Minjae waves before hanging up.

'Let's go back now, Y/n. I guess i'm pretty tired, after all.'
'Yeah, sure.' You grip the teddy bear tight and walk back to the car.
