***Hey guys, I really hope you like this new chapter. I'm really liking writing more about Evonne and Isaac as they grow closer. I think they make a cute couple. Let me know what you think. Follow me and vote for my stories. I'd really appreciate it***

Evonne dressed the next morning slowly. A few discarded outfits laid scattered across her unmade bed as she fixed the collar on her third outfit. She was never one for a girly exterior, but she felt good today. Today, she wanted to look good.

Finally satisfied with her latest outfit, a peach coloured ruffed, off the shoulder dress that stopped just above her knees, Evonne applied a thin layer of powder across her face. She added a bit more to try to conceal the freckles across her skin, before applying a little shadows above her eyes and finishing off with a faint tint to her lips.

When she went downstairs with her gym bag in hand, she was met with silence as she entered the kitchen. Her mum was off somewhere obsessively fixing something somewhere in the house, no doubt accompanied with Andrea. Terry only eyed her suspiciously as she sat across from Jon and helped herself to some pancakes before her brother finished them off.

"What are you wearing?" Jon asked her, looking up from his plate briefly to give his sister a quick once over, before all his attention was back on the plate of food in front of him.

"What?" Evonne felt a flush in her cheeks as she smoothed the material across her exposed legs. Maybe she should have gone with leggings? It wasn't too late to change now.

"You're in a dress?"

Evonne's eyes veered to her father. She could tell he didn't approve of her outfit today, but what father would? She knew it was a bit revealing, but she wanted to be noticed today. Especially by the hot guy that's almost constantly on her mind. "Yeah. I'm a girl, right? Girls can wear dresses."

"But you're in a dress," Jon stressed.

Evonne's face creased as she stuck her tongue at her brother. "I can wear dresses, you know? It wouldn't be the first time." She grabbed a fork and stabbed at some eggs. "What's the big deal?" she exclaimed. "It's a dress, not a potato sack."

"I guess." Terry mumbled as his hands flattened the hairs on either side of her head and he bend and dropped a kiss to her forehead. She had left her hair down today. It looked better down. "You look good, hun."

Evonne finished off her breakfast, washed the plates and followed her brother down the hall. "You're not gonna ditch me again after school for some girl, are you?"

Jon snorted as he pulled open the car door and settled inside. "No. Not after you ratted me out yesterday."

Evonne frowned as she strapped herself in. "I didn't rat you out. Dad found out, okay? Not my fault."

Jon kept his eyes forward as he steered away from the house. "Only because some guy dropped you off -" He broke off as a thought occurred to him. "Maybe I wasn't the only one getting action yesterday. Is this mysterious guy the reason for the dress?"

Evonne felt her face steam red as she thought about Isaac and the weird dream she had yesterday. The confidence he carried with each step. The way people bowed to him. The sweat as it dripped down his muscles. Was he the reason for today's outfit? She refused to acknowledge it and simply ignored her brother as she settled into the seat and gazed out the window.

Her lack of response was enough of an answer for Jon and he continued to mock his little sister as they drove to school. Evonne tried her best to ignore him, but his words wormed into her mind. By the time he finally pulled into the car parking lot, Evonne was flushed with all sorts of emotions. She leaped out the car as soon as it stopped and without a glance at her brother, she hustled towards the main entrance.
