going to try to get another one out to you here. Don't forget to tell me what you think :)
On with the story :)
*Recap*
Ryan watched me intently as I relaxed my stance. He stayed quiet for a moment before he smiled at me. "It’s about time you said it sis. I do see and I do watch very close actually. I’m actually happy for you both really. Landon shut down when you were brought up. He wore a very careful neutral mask so no one could see. I’m his best friend, and you’re my sister. I’ve fought with you and against you. I know when something is off with both of you. I’m glad that fate placed you together. I’m just curious why there was such a pull so early on." He spoke calmly and rationally with a smile.
I shook my head and smiled at him. "So who else knew?" I asked softly. I heard someone clear their throat behind me. "I did." Amanda said softly. I turned to her with wide eyes. "Although you did a GREAT job hiding it. It took a while for me to see it. There are reasons why your brother and I could see it and no one else could" Amanda spoke softly.
"Why?" I asked.
"Come inside, have some more cake and we'll discuss it." She said with a smile.
I gave her a puzzled look and realized the worst is over. No blood shed, no real fight just some angry words, and I still had a hard time figuring out how he knew or how Amanda knew for that matter. I slowly followed Ryan and Amanda back to the house I watched Ryan give Landon a man hug thing and smile.
"We good?" Landon asked.
"Yea we’re good. Next time I would like a heads up though." Ryan teased him as he turned to go inside. I turned to follow but was stopped by a hand wrapping around my wrist. I stopped and stepped back to him.
"How about us? We good?" Landon asked me with a small smile. I know he heard what I said but I wasn't too worried about it. I nodded "Yea why?" I returned his smile.
"Well you had a small snap at me in there and I wanted to make sure I didn’t cross any lines I didn’t know about." He said in all seriousness.
"You know I totally forgot about that, but yea we are good, But you are so going to pay for all that later. I don’t know when, I don’t know how but you will pay." I mused.
"Is that a promise or a threat, Love?" He asked pulling me closer to him and lowering his face to meet mine.
"Both." I stated plainly. He ran his nose across my jaw and down my shoulder, and laid a gentle kiss on his mark. I shuddered slightly, "Your treading dangerous waters Love. Just remember that." He said softly. I nodded in return. "Duly noted," I kissed the side of his neck to be rewarded with a small shiver and moan. "Come on." I said, pulling him back in the house everyone had sat down in the living room. I smiled as I saw a cup of coffee and a plate with cake on it in front of the love seat. I skipped my way to the seat and went to sit down. I reached for the plate as Landon sat down. I smiled back at him as I sat next to him and curled into his side and took a bite of my delicious cake. I swear this stuff should be illegal. Amanda smiled at us.
"You better start talking while she is in a euphoric state." Macy said. I smiled at her and nodded in agreement.
"Ok then where to start." Amanda said.
"I hear the beginning is always a good place." I said in a light tone. I was wondering why my parents and the Alpha were still here though. I figured they would want to have 'adult time'.
"Your right, so I guess I will give you the back story on the current events then. Ryan you want to tell the story your better at it than me." She asked him. He smiled and nodded.
