Aziraphale was slowly getting better. His head wound was basically fully healed but a scar did remain. His back was still a mess and would take a couple months to fully heal but there were no signs of infection. Crowley still felt guilty for it. He couldn't accept the fact that it wasn't his fault. It felt like everything spiralled for the angel after he kissed him. Maybe he shouldn't have ever confessed his feelings. Maybe he should have never gotten feelings. He couldn't help but love him though. How could anyone not love Aziraphale? He was perfect in every way. He was so caring and beautiful. Although, if anyone ever did love Azi other than Crowley they would probably mysteriously disappear...

"Crowley are you alright?" Azi

He was completely zoned out and staring straight ahead of him. Azi had seen Crowley dissociate many times in their existence together. He always brushed it off and said that it was nothing but he knew that it was a problem. One time Crowley disassociated for 3 months before Aziraphale found him. Since he was a celestial being he didn't notice the time going by. It was just after he had been told that he 'went to fast' for Azi. Apparently he just had a lot on his mind, and he was completely fine. The angel didn't believe a word of it and often worried for him.

"Crowley?" Azi

Still no response.
He sat beside him and, very gently, put and arm around him. The contact snapped Crowley out of it.

"Ah, my dear. You were spaced out. Please, tell me your thoughts." Azi

"Sorry Angel." Crowley

"Tell me your thoughts so I can help you dear." Azi

"Yeah well it's hard when you call me that..." Crowley

He spoke barely above a whisper but Aziraphale heard it all the same.

"Do you dislike me calling you dear?" Azi

Crowley slowly looked up.

"No..." Crowley

The Angel was quite confused. If he liked it why did he always tense up at the name? He tried to stop calling him it but it would just slip out. Crowley was very dear to him, he was his dear. He was his existence actually. He was his reason for existing. Why couldn't he just see that?

"Please Crowley, i don't understand what you think and feel. You never share it. I respect that you are a private person but I do worry about you." Azi

"Aziraphale, I waited over 6000 years just to kiss you. When I tried to show you love, you shut it down. You said that I went too fast for you or you declined me giving you a lift somewhere. And then when I finally confessed, I finally fucking kissed you and you left...you left me." Crowley

Tears started falling down his cheeks. He didn't bother to wipe them away.

"I know. I hate myself for it. I wish I wasn't so stupid and blind and I wish I could've just seen that heaven and hell are toxic. I know that sorry isn't enough. I don't know what else to do. What can I do Crowley?" Azi

He stared longingly at him.

"Do you love me?" Crowley

Aziraphale glanced into Crowleys eyes, a wave of nerve flushed over him. Yes, of course he did, but he'd never said it out loud before. He had never admitted it to anyone, not even himself.
However, it was now or never.

"Yes, of course I do! How could I not? How could I physically not love you Crowley? You are my whole world, you are my whole existence. I love you with every fibre of my being. I'm so so sorry I couldn't say it before." Azi

Crowley was silent.

"Please say something, anything." Azi

He didn't say anything. Instead, he leaned in, his thumb gently brushing Aziraphale's cheek, and the angels heart skipped a beat.

"Is this okay?" Crowley whispered.

Aziraphale didn't answer. Instead, he took the risk, he jumped. He finally jumped off of the ledge that he was clinging onto and by God, the fall felt so freeing.

Their lips met in a tender kiss, a union of opposites. The kiss was a mixture of longing and relief, a silent promise of eternity together. Time slowed, and they held each other closer, lost in the deepness of their love. It lasted quite a while, it stayed gentle and soft though. As celestial beings, they didn't have to breathe so pulling apart wasn't necessary. Azi cupped Crowleys face in his hands, Crowley clung on to Aziraphale's waist, he clung so desperately.

When they finally broke apart, they gazed into each other's eyes, knowing that they were forever entwined in this world and the next.

Tears filled in the demons eyes. He couldn't tell if this was real or just a vivid dream.

"I adore you Angel, always have." Crowley

"As do I dear." Azi
