We all are dreamers and reality always hit us with a rock. Life is not a fantasy for everyone, and some even dreams about having a life you already have and you complain by seeing the people who are ahead you not those who are behind you.
It's an insecurity that makes us think if we will think about people who are less than us we will be start settling for less than what we can achieve the way people in front of us are achieving.
The insecurities cure is in reassurance that being grateful for what you have is not like the sentence "God thank you for everything i don't need much." It's like this sentence "God thank you so much for everything, i am always dependent on whatever good favours you may send upon me and my family and friends."
Never be insecure because God knows you more than you know yourself, you and your future is secure with the most merciful.
Grateful: Gratitude pleases Allah and he smiles at the person who shows gratitude even he is in trials but Allah likes gratitude for his servants even in hardships, specially in hard moments because he knows this too shall pass. And with harship is ease, Allah intends ease for all of his servants. My beloved God is very merciful than our minds can describe in words.

Your tawakkul on Allah doesn't describe how weak you and your circumstances are it shows that God in a minute can decide, and then in that exact minute you will be informed by a call a text, a message from the heart, a thought from mind that whatever you asked from Allah is granted to you.
What time it is while you are reading this? Say out loud "kun" and see how many minutes passed when you said it? It's still the same right for example you said it kun at 2: 14 now it's still 2:14 even after you said kun? Because you only need a second to utter a word, that has just three letters cannot be even compared to seconds. It's very little.
Now imagine when the creator just decides to say kun literally makes it fayakun!. How many seconds does fayakun needs for you to say it out loud, same amount of time that you needed for kun, even though it has three words and fayakun has seven words yet both needs 3 to 4 seconds. This is how Allah is capable of changing your situation into the best moment of your life.
Your future is secure with him, just tell him that whatever you want, keep making duas, never give up on duas, you will see miracles every single day.
