Broken lies

Chapter 9

Third pov
Everyone watched as Maci got back to her plate with a frown on her face but didn't speak up she had tears in her eyes but didn't say a word

Her father felt terrible but he did notice her eating habits weren't that great so he kept his mouth shut

After breakfast was done by everyone Malachi spoke up "Marci today my doctor will be coming by just to do a all around check up okay baby" she whipped her head to look at him

Doctors were the ones to make it known she had Dpd so she was hesitant to be told someone else was wrong with her in front of all her newfound family

Marci's pov
I was scared I didn't want to go see another doctor I didn't need them to tell me what was wrong with me but I didn't say anything

I got out of my seat and whispered okay to my papa and picked up bread and went back to my room I closed the door and sat down on the carpet infront of Bread and cried

"They're going to find out all the things wrong with me and need to fix me like dad did" bread just looked at his mama and sat himself in her lap

I just cried more and didn't notice my door opening and closing or someone walking in till i felt a hand on my shoulder and Zion's voice

" you don't have to be scared we will be with you through the whole thing" i  looked up at him and got off the floor and Buried my head into his Chest

He patted my head and back and held me I stopped crying on him after 30 minutes and he spoke again "i seen you made yourself comfortable and started dressing as me" I look down at the clothes I had on and smiled at him and said sorry

Back in the living room

The doctor just arrived and went straight to the medical wing in the house while most of the family walked behind him

Malachi let Richard the family doctor no the basics of how she was found and didn't forget to mention her Dpd and her eye which to him looked like a broken blood vessel

Richard wrote down what was told to him and made sure to check into her eye not wanting her to go blind or lose function in her eye it was a main priority

After writing all this down he looked to his boss and told him he's ready whenever she is so Malachi texted his nephew to bring her down that everything is set up

As soon as she walked into the room Richard could already tell she needed a nutrition plan because a 16 year old shouldn't be this skinny she had no muscle depth on her body so he wrote it down

She made her way to the table in the middle of the room still holding Zion close to her and looked up at him he just looked down on her and didn't say a word

Richard told her to get comfortable on the table and when she sat some of her family meme we came over and kissed her head than left the room

She thought she would be left alone with the doctor so she gripped Zion tighter she looked back to the other men in the room and the only ones left were her papa and twin brothers everyone else was gone

She made eye contact with the doctor than he asked if she was ready which she didn't reply but gave a nod

A hour later he had a lot written on the paper about her health when he asked her to remove her clothing to check the rest of her body because her breathing was a little short

Malachi and Zion went to step out of the room to give her some sort of privacy but she started to panic seeing them head towards the door so she spoke up

"Don't leave me please I don't want to be alone" Malachi looked at her and nodded Zion and her brothers looked at her and decided to stay for support

She left out a sigh before removing her shirt her family didn't care about her not having anything under and didn't look at her chest until they heard Richard suck in a deep breath

The boys thinking he was acting inappropriate towards their baby walked up to him ready to end him but looked down at Marci who just held her head down

Zion being alert to every change around him looked down at her body and seen the blue and yellow marks painting her ribs the look he was giving seeing his baby's body all beat up was the look he gave people when he made sure it was the last face there going to see

Malachi then turned his face to his daughter and seen why the Richard gasped the twins being furious was still getting in Richard face before they heard there father gasp

Both of them turned around to look at what made their father have no words and as they seen their baby hands were suddenly being thrown into the walls around them

Marci being scared she needed to be corrected for a mistake she didn't understand she made she gripped Zion more closer to her

Malachi decided he needed to know who marked his daughter skin in such ways so he said "Who" she looked at him lost until he pointed at her ribs and said the same thing again

She looked down to the marks on her skin and said " mama and dad did" the twins ran out the room and Malachi followed so now she was just with Zion and Richard

Marci was sad that they all left her but she looked on to see Zion still with her so she just held him tighter and said "your not going to leave me to right" tears were streaming down his dolls face and he shook his head no at her and held her tighter not tight enough to hurt her more but enough to let her know that he wasn't leaving
