Chapter 11

Marci pov
I didn't know what a ball was a party but I was excited they were all talking about how They throw a ball for a bunch of families when a new boss is being introduced

I smiled proud of my brother and told him congratulations grandma and my aunties started telling me we have to go dress shopping and I was happy I never got to wear dresses and now I had the chance

Knowing that the ball was tomorrow my Nonna and aunts made calls to stores to check for dresses I went upstairs to get some of the items for bread and brought them down

He had a cute shirt and a collar and leash that I put on him I was making my way to the door with them when my brother Matteo shot up and came over "Baby you should leave bread with us he himself had a long day at the vet"

I looked at him than down at bread I didn't want to leave him I wanted to try on the dresses for him to see too but grandma said we won't be long so I took off his leash and he sat there

I told him I will be back and we all left

The place we went to was super big and had so many rooms we walked into this pink and white store and I was told to go see what I like

I looked at a few dresses but didn't see anything I liked so we left the store when walking to another store I looked in a window and seen this dressed that looked so soft I wanted it

So I grabbed grandmas hand and pointed to it and her eyes lit up we walked to the store and a nice lady gave us the dress to try on and when I did and walked out all of them had tears in their eyes

I ran over hugging each one of them and they laughed "you look beautiful bambina" I smiled at them and grandma said this was the dress so with that we got it and went back home

When we got back I ran up to everyone and told them about my dress and they all wanted to see it but grandma said it will be a surprise for tonight

I couldn't wait I wanted to show them but I knew to follow grandmas orders and wait to show them

Third pov

Hours were nearing till it was time to go to the ball and everyone went to get ready the ladies took Marci to Amanda her aunts room and started getting her hair done and makeup done

After 45 minutes of playing with her hair and getting it put up elegantly she was told she can look in the mirror to see

Marci smiled and jumped in her grandmas arms kissing her cheeks and doing the same to her aunts Amanda went and grabbed the dress and told her to go change into it and she snatched it and ran into the bathroom

As she was putting on her dress she looked into the mirror again all she was thinking was I look the same but different in the best ways

She left the bathroom and the woman all turned around to look at her and again tears fell from their eyes seeing their baby looking every so beautiful

They walked up to her helping her fix her dress and hair again before stepping back and appreciating their work

Downstairs all the men stood waiting on the woman to make there way down the stairs Malachi walked to his youngest sons and fix their ties and started planing that through the whole night someone has to be with Marci

This again was in all of there heads so it didn't need to be discussed further

Marci decided to head to her room quickly to dress up bread in his suit shirt and put his leash back on him

Grandma and the aunts all made there way down to the living room waiting on Marci to make her way down the stairs Amanda told them all that she went to get bread and she should be down any minute

As soon as she finished saying that they heard heels clicking down the steps and they all faced the stairs

While the woman of there family all smiled the men kept a still face on

Marci's pov

Heels were a little tricky to walk in but after practicing for a bit I think I got it down alright after I was done dressing bread I started leaving my room

He followed closely to me and didn't seem to mind the leash I turned the corner and started coming down the stairs slowly so I didn't hurt my ankles

Looking at my feet I got the stairs handled and looked up to see all my family my papa's face didn't look happy so I frowned but grandpa smacked the back of his head

I rushed down to see if his head was okay and tripped but my uncle caught me so I didn't hurt myself i thanked him quickly and rushed to see dads head

I rubbed my hand on where grandpa hit him and he smiled at me and told me I look beautiful but the atmosphere changed when Matteo spoke up

"Change your to young to be dressing like your a grown up" I seen a lot of my brothers agreeing so I went to turn around when Zion grabbed my hand to stop me and told me

"Forget what he said you look beautiful tonight great choice of dress" I smiled at him and hugged him I watched my grandpa look at all my brothers and cousins who agreed with Matteo and shake his head at them

Bread looked at everyone and meowed so I picked him up we all walked out the door with me holding Zion's hand

I was happy to be going out with all of my family
