Chapter 15: Even Robots have nightmares

(Days pass by, Varian grows a few more inches, close to Strongarm's height. Starburst lying around or working about like always. Grim still being afraid of cats. But can't stand having nightmares 'no pun intended' lol)

Russell comes out of the trailer with a bowl of milk for a little critter which is a orange and white cat. As soon as he called for the cat, Night was holding the little kitten on her arms while sitting on top of the trailer in her human holoform with her hair down. When Night was on earth before, she became an animal person for all critters. She scratches gently behind the kitten's ear as it was purring in her lap. Night got down and puts the kitten on the ground. "It's really cute", she smiles.

"I didn't know you liked animals, Nova", Russell said while putting the bowl down.

"Yeah, I am", Night scratches the back of her head and walks over. Suddenly, Bee arrives with Denny and Fixit saying that they were heading out somewhere. But Grimlock shouldn't see the kitten because he scared and doesn't do cute, "He doesn't do anything, doesn't he", Night was sarcastic. Russell had planned to watch a scary movie with the other bots. As soon as they left, the bots started to watch the movie and Starburst was lying down on the ground somewhere else with his hand on the back of his head looking at the stars. As he started to drift off a bit by closing his optics, a moment later, he hears loud shrieking on the other side of the scrap yard. He suddenly got up in alert, transforming to go see what it was like a big guard dog. As soon as he went to check, he smelled a decepticon and the scent just disappeared leading toward Chopshop's stasis pod. Looking around the night sky, there was nothing as he growled and grumbled deeply and goes straight back to the others.

"Did you hear something out there?", Strongarm asked.

"Thought I heard something too", Varian looked at Strongarm.

"Who could tell? The human on screen has been screaming for ten minutes straight. Doesn't she ever stop to breathe?", Sideswipe said as Grimlock was clinging onto him, but Grim started to cling onto Night instead. Night wasn't much of a scary movie bot, but wasn't scared, just a little disturbed. Which makes Russell and Night not scared at all. I mean some of the bots have fears lol. Meanwhile, Russell leaves for more popcorn while Night went to check on Starburst, so the bots try to come up with something to scare the two. As soon as they come back, Strongarm, Varian, and Sideswipe were gone.

"Huh? Where'd everybody go?", Russell asked. Night was getting confused too. They hear sudden groaning that was coming their way. Night wasn't stupid knowing it was Sideswipe in big rags.

"Sideswipe, I know that's you. Varian tried to do that check on me once, it's not gonna scare me again", Night raised her eyebrow.

"Oh come on, mom. You ruined it...!", Varian came out hiding and sat down with a pouting face.

"Son, not everything can scare me", Night snickers.

"Help. Somebody help me", Strongarm called out. Night and Russell went to check on her, but she was 'hacked' into pieces, but dug in the ground. The two were concerned, but still weren't fooled.

"You both want scary.."- Nightmare

Grimlock wanted quietly behind them with a big 'ax'.

"..I'll give you scary", Nightmare has a psychotic, crazy side that she hasn't shown to anyone, but shows the expression.

As soon as Grim roars, Night turns her head to him, showing her purple optic glowing with dilated pupil, showing a big creepy smile with her sharp teeth. When Grim saw the face she made, he screams like a girl for a few seconds. Strongarm was surprised at Grim. Once Night turned to her, but with a normal face, Night pulls her out from the dirt. "You four gotta to try harder to scare both of us", Night said.
