Dear Wendy,
Today, I met my guardian angel again. It was raining and he stayed under the rain with me instead of taking me to shelter just because I insisted since mommy would be angry if I left in the middle of my penance. His blond hair was still shiny even though the rain clouds made everywhere dark which I liked. But I still couldn't see his eye colour. He never talks much and he listened to me say my 15 decades of rosary.
New word: blond(e)
Meaning: yellow hair (He told me that yellow hair is called blond. But why doesn't black hair have a fancy name?)
Excerpt: 6 yrs old Jin.
~Jinnx~
''Hey Jin. Can I call you Jin? Jordan calls you that so I can, right?''
I was brought out of my thoughts by whoever it was that had such... audacity.
The guy who had called for my attention was standing in front of me, resting his upper body on the desk of the chair I was on.
He peered at me with curious chocolate brown eyes. ''Would you like to do the honors?'' He simply asked. His face was close to mine and another face flashed in my head.
Too close. I immediately moved to sit straighter to widen the distance. Despite my reaction, I could admit he was stunning. His overall sharp looks made him look like a troublemaker. Someone I'd naturally like to steer clear of.
From his jet black curly hair to the very light dusting of freckles on his nose and cheek bones that were only visible to me due to how close he was to me, to his lips that seemed to be in a permanent smirk. Like he was plotting something not-so-nice. He looked tall, wasn't as tanned as Jay but not pale like Aksel.
The only contrasting thing about features were his eyes. They looked... kind. And they were the most familiar thing about him.
The fuzzy memory gave me an instant headache and my covered right eye hurt. What was that? I wondered to myself. I looked at the guy who was still waiting for my reply. Did I know him?
At this point, everyone feels familiar to me. I reasoned to myself. Am I really just meeting people I know in this school?
''Honors?'' I asked since I didn't get what he meant.
''Would you perform a duet with me?'' He clarified which made me even more puzzled. Why would he have to perform a duet? And why was I the chosen one?
He noticed my questioning gaze. ''You weren't listing to what Jordan was saying were you?'' He said with an amused expression on his face.
I shook my head which prompted him to explain. ''Were having a 'chanced karaoke' today. Its basically when people are picked randomly to perform a karaoke. I was among the ones picked and Jordan said I should do a duet with a hot girl.'' Then he grinned. ''And then he looked at you. Clearly he wants you to be my partner.
At his words, I looked at Jordan. His eyes were watching our exchange, like he was ready to come in if I wanted. When our eyes met, he winked at me. That made me happy enough.
I felt stares from all angles.
''First, she catches Aksel's attention and now Zane?''
''It gets worse. Some people said they saw her leave school yesterday with Jayden. And that he smiled at her. Jayden smiled."
"No way. Aksel, Jayden and Zane? What's going on?"
I thought these guys were nice. How did they change their tune so quickly?
