Dear Peter,
Do you think Levi, George and Leon know about what happened that night? I mean, they're his big brothers. So much happened in so little time. There's no way he wouldn't tell them at least half of the story. Or at least a full version filled with lies. Maybe they wouldn't know there was a story to be told at all. I kind of miss them. They were nice, and I always believed they would have become my brothers-in-law in the future...

Excerpt: 15 yrs old Jinnx's journal since her selective amnesia.

''You seem worried.'' A deep voice commented making me look in it's direction. A guy with dark hazel eyes and dirty blonde hair stood there holding two plastic bottles of water.

My covered eye began to throb at the sight and a headache hit me. It was made worse with the loud music booming everywhere.

Wait... loud music?

I looked at my surroundings. For some reason, I was at... a party? A party that I didn't remember walking into. Didn't I just fall asleep after yelling at Jayden?

I got up from where I was sitting and marched up to the stranger that was talking to me. "Where did you take me to?" I demanded from him even though my hands were already shaking at the fear of being in an unfamiliar place alone.

He let out an amused laugh. "Where I took you? You came here by yourself. You've been sitting and drinking for over thirty minutes now." He raised up the bottles in his hands. "I brought these because I got concerned. You look like you have a lot to forget."

His words made absolutely no sense. At least until the memories hit me. I didn't yell at Jay yesterday. I yelled at him two weeks ago! Everything came rushing back. Jordan calling me that evening, me going to school, writing my exams and finishing it, me only talking to Zane because I was too chicken to speak to Jayden and now, being at this party to drink my depression away.

No. They had to be false memories. I don't remember doing any of those things on my own accord. I definitely didn't use my mind and two feet to walk into a party!

I slowly sat back down as I tried to make sense of what was going on. The stranger sat in the chair closest to mine. Seeing him made me angry. I was angry at myself and everything around me. I felt like I was being... puppeteered. Controled. I didn't like the feeling. And the stranger...

I know him but from where exactly? I unconsciously shifted away from him a little.

"Nice to know you're still cautious Jin." He stated after watching my actions.

I wasn't surprised that he knew my name since I was already sure I knew him too. In fact, I felt too familiar around him. Enough to not even bother trying to show him my usual fake smile with how angry and scared I was there in that party. But hearing it from him made me feel uncomfortable.

"You know my name but I don't know yours." I blurted. For some reason, I felt almost fearless talking to him. I didn't trust him obviously. But I felt familiarity. With most men, I felt fear. But with him, I felt something stronger. Like I wanted to slap him. Or hurt him in general.

No. It was much more than that. I felt like I... despised him. I felt irritated by his presence.

Could he be one of...

"You do know my name. But I guess I'm part of the people and memories you've forgotten." He stated. He had this wistful look on his face. But for some reason, he also looked happy that I had in fact forgotten him.

He also knew I'd lost certain parts of my memories? And he was a part of it? I don't like this.

"You look awfully happy for someone that claims to be 'forgotten'." I stated averting my thoughts back to the guy beside me as I observed his features. He had a few piercings. And a tattoo peeked from below his shirt on his neck.
