Part 4 - You and me, when we used to be

126 4 2

You will never see the me I used to be
Now you call me crazy
Will I agree with you? Maybe

You had me disregarded then left me broken-hearted
I wish I could be mad, but all I feel is sad
And you're feeling happy while I'm feeling crappy

I'm locked in this empty house, quiet as a mouse
And I know we will never be what we used to see
It happened so, so soon now I'm feeling blue
Thinking of how we used to be, just you and me

Said we'd be forever, now I know it was never
We're turning over, please, I need some closure
Our friendship has ended and our love has suspended
Now our lives are just you and me, and how we used to be

Will we ever go back to how we were, or will we stay like this forever and ever?
