You've done enough
But wonder why I'm so tough
When you shattered all that we had
Like you were a happy, little lad

You look at me with disgust
Like you want to cage me in handcuffs
And send me to jail
Just for once being frail

You looked at what we had
And wanted more
Now you're glad and I'm sad
To say you got what you wished for

But I still see that look in your eye
That looks like you want to cry
And aren't ready to say goodbye
Was it all just a lie?

You saw you and me
And what we used to be
Said, "We shall never again be
What we used to see."

And that was the end
