FIFTH YEAR

"Ominis, I know this is the last thing you want to do-" Sebastian started to say before Ominis quickly cut him off.

"Yes! It is! I thought you knew me better!" Ominis shouted. His voice echoed in the small space where we stood.

"But this is different. Whoever you cast it upon will have agreed to it first. It wouldn't be an innocent 'victim.' We have to open the door." Sebastian explained. I was standing between the two of them, watching them go back and forth.

"The spell won't work unless you mean it. That's true of all Unforgivables. If it must be done, then one of you must cast it." Ominis said quietly.

Sebastian sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"Fuck." He mumbled. He was frustrated. I was frustrated. I couldn't believe he was asking Ominis to do this.

"Why can't we just cast it? Why are we even asking Ominis?" I asked. Sebastian looked at me with a furious look on his face.

"You don't even know how to do it. I'm going to have to cast it on you." He said firmly. I raised my eyebrow.

"If you know how, then you can teach me," I replied. He shot me a look that seemed to say 'You've got to be kidding me.'

"That'll take too much time. I'll just cast it on you, hold still." He said as he pulled out his wand. I quickly pulled mine out and pointed it at him.

"What the hell are you doing?" He shouted. Ominis was still pacing in the corner, rubbing his hands together and groaning.

"You're not casting that on me. Teach me and I'll cast it on you." I said firmly. He lowered his wand.

"Fine. But you have to mean it." He said, finally giving in. I smirked at him as I kept my wand held out in front of me.

"Believe me, I will."
