I leaned up against the pillar in the undercroft. My head was pounding. Headaches were a common thing for me, especially nowadays. I couldn't remember the last time I wasn't suffering from some sort of illness because of all this stress.

"What is this place called again?" Cora asked as she walked around the vast space. Sebastian was standing beside me, his hands in his pockets.

"The Undercroft." He said quietly. Cora nodded her head. Ominis, who was sitting in a nearby chair we had conjured, let out a sigh.

"I've trusted you with this secret. But if you tell anyone about this, Cora, I will obliviate you immediately." He snarked. Cora waved her hand back at him in annoyance.

"Please do." She teased before turning to face us. Sebastian let out a small laugh. He leaned off the pillar we were standing against and took a few steps forward.

"Let's focus. We need to make a move on our plan and soon." Sebastian said firmly. There was something about him taking charge that sent chills all over me.

Cora stopped pacing and turned to face us. She tucked a piece of her blonde hair behind her ear as she nodded her head.

"I think we have the plan pretty set. I mean we all know what we are doing, yes?" She asked. Sebastian looked at me and I cleared my throat as I leaned off the pillar.

"Yes. I think all of our jobs are very clear." I said, confirming what Cora was asking. Ominis shook his head a bit.

"I still say this is a risky plan. We could get caught. Something could go wrong. Elaine could tell someone." He said, repeating the list of worries he already had.

Ominis had a point. It was a risky plan. There was not one part of this plan that didn't need to go exactly. If this were a game of Wizards Chess, we were all just pawns and Elaine was the player. We just needed to hope she would make the right moves to fall into our trap.
