Monday / Five Days

Y/n,

Please make sure you're at Quidditch practice a little early today.

I want to go over those drills with you.

Sammie

I folded the note up and placed it in my pocket. It had been a long weekend. It was finally Monday morning, and things were returning to normal with everyone in class again.

The Ravenclaw versus Slytherin game was this Saturday. Five days. Samantha was on edge about the game. It was going to be a long week.

I still had to find Matthias. I needed to talk to him about this weekend and my little revelation. I grabbed my books, placing them in my bag before heading down the stairs.

"Y/n, there you are!" Amit called out as I walked down the last step. He came up to me with a piece of parchment in his hand.

"Good morning, Amit. What's that?" I asked. He held it up to me. The parchment had different signatures on it. I recognized most of the names being fellow Ravenclaws.

"It's a petition. I'm trying to get people to agree to no more parties in the common room. I spent the entire evening cleaning and stopping everyone from destroying the room. I do not want to go through that again." He explained. I smiled as I held my hand out. This would be the easiest thing I did all day.

"Say no more. Do you have a quill?" I asked. He handed me a quill, and I gladly signed the paper. After the past weekend, no more parties in the common room sounded heavenly.

"Thanks, Y/n," Amit said with a smile. He spotted Duncan and immediately started chasing him down. I laughed as I continued out of the common room. I didn't have a class for over an hour, but I needed to find Matthias.

I went to the first place I knew he usually was in the mornings, the Great Hall. I glanced over to the Gryffindor table, but he wasn't there. Maybe I was here early, but I knew he usually was already eating by this time.
