Chapter 61: Maxine

(1:30PM, Las Vegas)

I slip the gown over my head, looking in the mirror.

I grin, spinning around. Ash walks in with her dad David, and stares at me. "What?" I say. Ash blushes. "Je na teba taká zdrvujúca." David says to her in a language I don't understand. Ash blushes harder at his comment. "Ocko, drž hubu.  Uvádzaš ma do rozpakov." She says to David. Corinna enters the room. "Ashlee.  Hör auf, für sie zu nippen." She says. "Mama!  Können du und Dad euch einfach ein bisschen verpissen?!" Ash says. Corinna grabs David's hand and leaves. Ash sighs, grabbing my waist. "You look beautiful, Max." She says, smiling. She covers my eyes with her hands, telling to keep them closed. I hear zips being undone and slight swearing from Ash, making me giggle. "Open your eyes!"
She says. I open my eyes, and gasp.

She smiles, twirling about. "How do I look?" She asks me. I gulp. "Absolut uluitor." I breathe in Romanian. She grins. "I'm not too sure what you said there so I'm going to hope it was good." Ash giggles. I grab hold of her hands. "I love you, Ashlee Ray Kopf-Dobrik." I say to her, kissing her lips softly. I grip her hips tightly. Ash pulls away, laughing. "We have plenty time to do that later, Maxine Ash Graceffa." I nod and pull her towards a mirror, taking a selfie. We both fix our hair, making sure our tattoos are showing and that our makeup is perfect.

Ash looks at me, her cat grin evident. "Let's go crash a fucking wedding, then." She says.
