𝒋𝒐𝒔𝒉'𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒗

I walked onto set expecting my day to be easy. I didn't have much to film. My call was later in the day so I spent my time working out and preparing for the few lines I had to throw out there. I drafted up an Instagram post in my down time, just took the morning easy really.

That was until there was a knock on my door. I called out for the person to enter, expecting it to be a cast member wanting to fuck around. What I didn't expect was for the newbie to come in ready to raise hell.

"Do you just fool off every morning?" Her arms are crossed she's got the script in her hand like she's hasn't had weeks to memorize her lines.

I hold my hands up. I knew that she was high strung, I just didn't know that it ran that deep. "No?" I question her, furrowing my brows. I hadn't been fooling off. I had spent most of the time making sure I was staying in shape for my part. I think that classifies as doing work.

"I've spent all morning trying to get a hold of you to run lines one final time." She holds her phone up. Her tone is very annoyed and I actually kind of fear the wrath on her tone. I really had never met someone so uptight. Where had they found her, and why did they bring her here?

I shake my head at her. "My phone hasn't gone off once." I stand up, walking toward her. "I think we've spent enough time running lines. If you aren't ready yet, maybe you're not cut out for this." I motion a circle in the air with my finger.

Her cheeks turn red in anger. If she wasn't such a witch, I might even say it's cute. With the right attitude adjustment, maybe she would be cute. But that was never happening. This season was going to be rough to film with her around. Her attitude was going to affect us all. And if she was the reason this season crashed and burned, I don't think I'd ever forgive her.

"I strive for perfection. You can never practice too much." She scoffs, turning on her heel to leave. My words clearly bit a little too hard because she didn't try very hard to fight back.

"Wipe that mean mug off your face, Buttercup." I yell out to her as she walks out the door, but the endearing name I've given her has her standing with her face in mine in seconds.

"I'm not Buttercup. The name is Stella." She flips her hair over her shoulder trying to depart again, but I can't help but shoot another comment back in her direction. I would have the last word.

"I'm well aware, Buttercup." I smirk the well-known Baxter smile. One I know she's grown to absolutely hate. I've done it enough at her that it literally makes her eyes scrunch together, and I swear I've seen her gag once over it.

She stomps her foot like a child before departing without saying another word. I can't help but laugh at the childish act. This was going to be an unbelievably long season. I had no idea how I was going to convince the world that I loved her. If anything I loved annoying her, pushing her buttons, but I definitely did not love her.
