In a tapestry woven from whispers and melodies, a legend unfolded. A young woman, bound by a cruel enchantment, could only watch her love from a distance, a silent observer of his lif...

"One candle can illuminate the night."
"May I keep you company, Madam?" The young man asked. You nodded, making him sit next to you, "My lady, the moon is beautiful tonight, just like you," he grinned, his focus on your covered flushed face, "please spare me with such compliments. Those should be reserved for your future lover," you muttered, earning a chuckle from the young man.
"I must say, your performance was quite marvellous," he said, smiling widely, "but it is sad that you weren't able to join the dance that is currently happening," he said, standing up, his face flushed as he held his hand in front of you.
"May I have this dance?" you looked at him, curiosity painting your eyes. You wiped away the leftover tears, "It'd be rude to decline," you said, intertwining your hand with his.
The light of the moon followed them as they waltzed around the garden. Foot to the left, another to the right, their flow followed the music played inside.
"I am delighted to see that your tears finally dried," he said, finally letting you go, "now, may I ask why you were crying, sweetheart?" he said, smiling, "Thank you, monsieur," you said, taking a slight bow, "but, things like this are of a personal matter," you said, stepping away.
"Oh, I do not mean to pry; I'd just like to know what made a beauty like you shed those sad tears," he said, smiling sweetly.
"You are very good with your words," you laughed, "May I ask where you are from?" you questioned, "unimportant, my lady", his smile turning into a sad frown, "hm, not a very good answer," you mumbled, you were curious, a random man started flirting with you how very odd. "You dance gracefully, my lady", he said out of the blue, retaking your attention, "That was very out of the blue, monsieur Soliel," you spoke.
Suddenly, you hear someone call for you, making you look for the voice that called out, "(Y/n)!" it was Genevieve calling for you, "It seems I must go, monsieur", you said, smiling softly at the man next to you. As you moved away, you felt a hand grip your wrist. "When may I be able to see again?" he asked, his eyes glistening under the moon's light.
"When another time comes", you answered, walking away from him again.
"(Y/n)! Where are you!?" Genevieve called out, her voice shaking as she looked around the garden, "I'm right here, Genevieve", you said, walking closer towards her, "Where have you been?! I have been looking all over for you!" She held you tightly, "Genevieve, is there any notice about Mother?" you said, looking at her, dead in the eyes. She shook her head.
You both walked back inside, not a word being spoken. A frown painted on your face, "Genevieve, find clues about Mother." you said sternly, your hands clenched tightly as you walked around the manor.
Then you calmed down, seeing a painting you made of the sun, 'Monsieur Soliel, ' you felt your heart flutter ever so slightly.
