"Love pays no mind to desolation."
"Where am I?" Lyney cried out. He was surrounded by darkness. His head hurt as he spun around, iron bars surrounding him. "Oh, good morning, dear Lucian," a familiar voice called out. Turning to face the voice, a woman stepped out of the darkness, "Lynette!" he cried as he recognized his sister. "Lynette, where are we?" a broad, eerie grin appeared on his sister's face. "Lucian," Lyney stopped, his body suddenly stiffening with fear. A strange metallic and unpleasantly sour smell surrounded his cage. "You're not Lynette..." Lyney stuttered. The figure moved closer, leaving the dark shadows behind. It had a distorted face, and half of its body was rotting like a corpse.
"Did you have a drink that made him like this?" A woman's voice spoke in the background. The young girl hummed in reply as she continued to brew some tea. Next to them was Lyney, screaming, tears streaming from his eyes, which were covered with a cloth. "Lucian has always feared his sister's demise," the girl spoke, turning to Lyney, "She will come here sooner or later," she said, turning to the woman, "Are you sure she'll come?" the woman walked towards the young girl, stepping out of the shadows, revealing her glistening golden hair. "Make sure she gets here, or our deal is off." she threatened, her eyes cold as she stared at the young girl. "Of course, Princess."
"You better not disappoint me, Aurélie," the princess said as she walked away.Soon, the tears stopped flowing from Lyney's eyes, and Aurélie turned to him and kicked him in the ribs, "The food is here," she knelt and handed him a small loaf of bread and a cup of tea. "You'd better drink that tea down to the last drop," she smiled. It didn't matter if she did. "Who are you?" Lyney stuttered. "Who else, Lucian!" she said cheerfully, giggling as she forced the tea down his throat.
"Let's just wait until they get here..." Aurelie muttered, talking to herself. Lyney fainted again, his face covered in cuts. "I should check on the other one." She muttered, getting up from her previous position. "Etoile," she called, hearing a moan in the dark room. "Etoile, good morning," she smiled, tapping the iron bars of the girl's cage. "How pathetic you and your brother look," she giggled,
"Combien de temps leur faudra-t-il pour vous sauver?"
