In a tapestry woven from whispers and melodies, a legend unfolded. A young woman, bound by a cruel enchantment, could only watch her love from a distance, a silent observer of his lif...

"Somehow, our time and place stand still."
"I need to burn that bitch's body," you said darkly, your eyes flashing red as rage consumed your mind, your heart pounding as you continued inside. Everything burnt to a crisp, from rage to despair. Tears from your eyes slowly flowed down as you continued to walk. Why must everything go wrong? Why must you suffer the loss every time? The memories poured into your mind.
The days with your lover, the nights with your family. Why must everything be burned to ashes? Your heart sank as you entered your lover's room. All the letters, the notes, the books were gone. Not turned to ash, but they disappeared, taken away. "My lady!" someone called out. "Genevieve," You spoke this in a chilly tone. Turning towards the bird.
"I am the head of the house of Hearth," a female spoke, her red eyes glowing as she entered your office. You gestured for her to sit before you, "I heard your lovely manor burnt down," Arlecchino smiled as she took a cup of tea. "Yes, and it seems that two of your children were near the manor and were taken by someone," you said, looking at her straight in the eyes, "May I ask why subordinates of the Knave were near my manor in the first place?" You said.
"It is the official business of the Fatui. No matter your title, no one is allowed to know the details." She said, sipping the tea, "Hah... it is always the Fatui..." you mumbled, "Dear Knave, are you familiar with le soleil levant?" you asked. The Knave looked at you with wide eyes. "The other prophecy?" you nodded, "A creature who dies rises once more." You spoke.
"I know that you have been investigating Lucien and this prophecy." You said, standing up as Knave's eyes followed you. "Not only that, but you and your subordinates trespassed and rummaged through one of my prized rooms." You looked at her with bitterness. "Not only that, The Fatui has been trying to destroy my family's lives with countless threats and deaths. So I suggest you tell me why your children were near my home." You said darkly, facing her once more.
"Knave, I am not afraid to take action towards you and the Fatui, but this isn't also just for me to know how my home got burnt to ashes but because of the safety of your children." You said, turning away from her once more. "You act as if you are older than them, Miss (Y/n)." the knave finally spoke again. "I tasked the children to investigate a being called 'glaïeul de nuit." you were taken aback when the knave mentioned the title. "Seeing that, you seem surprised to hear that, Miss (Y/n). Are you familiar with this being?" the knave said, standing up to walk towards you. "glaïeul de nuit... It is a title given to my mother." You said, turning towards her to see her close to your back, "I can tell you more as long as you help me burn a witch." You grinned, moving away from her.
"Alright. It's the safety of the children as well."
